  • Conveniently located

"This house is a great jumping off point for all things you might want to do in Yosemite. About 20 - 30 minutes from the Valley, Glacier Point and Mariposa Groves. The house is very clean and well stocked. The owners greeted us upon arrival and made us feel at home. They gave us great suggestions for the week. The neighborhood is very quiet and much cooler during the summer months than in the Valley - at least 10 degrees difference. We had 2 boys (9 and 13) and had a great week of hiking, climbing and white water rafting. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay in the park but away from the congestion in the Valley."

  • Wonderful Cabin!

"Hikers Hideaway is a clean and well-kept cabin. It looked exactly like the photos on the website. The beautiful photographs on the walls and bear decorations just add to the cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub after hiking in the valley. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the valley floor. The cabin location is great for kids because it is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so they were able to play in the snow without worrying about cars. The area is quiet and peaceful. When I made a mistake on our check-out date, the owner was so gracious and allowed us to stay an extra night despite the extra inconvenience we caused. I would highly recommend Hikers Hideaway to anyone planning on visiting Yosemite."

  • The Cedar Chalet

"This house was just perfect for us. After driving from Flagstaff the hot tub was terrific. My teenage son was able to use his "360" at night and I the wifi. Cell service not so good but when we're on vacation we try not to use them so much. There are plenty of pay phones inside the park. Up the hill behind the house reveals a great trail to an old ranger station. The park is so close to the house which makes it so convenient. Each day we took a lunch and found a different spot to enjoy. All in all Perfect House Perfect Location! Be back soon."
