  • A lovely weekend in a quaint cabin

"Quiet, adorably decorated, close to the town center. Just perfect for a mellow moms' weekend away. Stocked with pretty much anything you need and even a few things we forgot. Thank you, Sunshine!"

  • Great Stay

"Stayed for a long weekend with 2 other families and had a great time. The rental is amazing, the kitchen is a dream. Really like the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom. A TV in each room is a nice touch. The owner was great to work with and responded to all my questions. The unit is very clean and the slopes can be seen from the front yard. I highly recommend this place."

  • Beautiful House, Great for groups!

"House was great, my friends and I have done an annual trip, and this has been the best house yet! A couple things to note.. - Its a Charcoal Grill, not gas. - Foosball Table is broken (the feet of the players were snapped off) - Some stains in the carpet, but as to be expected from a rental home - Limited kitchenware, best to bring plastic cups, paper plates, etc. - Its about a 10min drive down back to Big Bear Blvd. lots of windy roads and turns to get here. Can be inconvenient if you need to run down and grab something, but ultimately worth it when you get there and see the view off the balcony. Will definitely be back!"

  • Great property for families!

"We had a lovely stay at the Mountain Villa this past weekend with a couple other families. It's a very large home and the layout is ideal for various families to have their own private space. There's one large master bedroom and the remainder of the rooms aren't really comparable but it's workable for a weekend. Really enjoyed the ample space and the house is beautiful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, BBQ, unlimited firewood for $20 and the walking trail behind the house that leads to a gorgeous view of the lake and the mountains. The only thing we were missing was snow but the sledding mountain was very close. We vacation every year with the same families and we love to cook. Only complaint was the kitchen cabinets being in quite disarray. Spent a lot of time hunting for tops for pots and pans and mismatched pieces. This is pretty common with rentals and I certainly understand it's difficult to keep everything organized. There were ample dishes and silverware as well as dining areas. Martin was very communicative and all the information was well laid out. As others have acknowledged, 10 am checkout is so early but nonetheless, we had a lovely time and would certainly come again."
