  • Home away from home!

"This cabin is very cozy, clean, beautiful. My mother and I wanted to enjoy the lake and the forests of Big Bear. During the day we would enjoy scenic hikes, the lake and picnics. And in the evenings it was so nice to watch a good movie by the fireplace with a glass of wine. We truly felt like it was our home for three days. Nothing felt awkward or uncomfortable. The cabin is very well taken care of and the owners have thought of everything to make the stay special. Communication with the owner was also very easy and pleasant. I am planning to come back for sure! Thank you!"

  • Labor Day Weekend Getaway

"The cabin is beautiful and the pictures, as good as they look, do not do justice for how the cabin really looks in person. I’ve stayed at many different cabins in Big Bear and this has been the best one by far. The cabin is spacious and all of the rooms are set up perfectly. I loved the stove. The kitchen is fully loaded, with two coffee makers and also included but not mentioned is a toaster oven and a blender. Can Freezer Coolers are also in the freezer ready for use, came in handy. Plenty of utensils, plates, cups and glasses (wine glasses too). As mentioned on other reviews, you need extra spices for your cooking. Oil, salt and pepper were provided. The cabin was clean and is well maintained with plenty of bath towels as well. The cabin is in a convenient location and close to the lake. The porch is a nice place to relax with very comfortable seating. The BBQ grill is a good size, we used it three times. The couches were also comfortable. The master bedroom, comfortable bed, spacious and the restroom is huge. We all enjoyed the cabin, thank you for allowing us to rent your cabin and for allowing us to take our dog. She enjoyed it too as well as swimming in the lake. We look forward to renting this cabin again soon. Dealing with the owner, Darin…was easy and so was the communication. Thanks again, Darin!"

  • Huge. Functional. Pretty solid.

"I went here for a Big Bear getaway with a group of twelve friends. We liked how many bathrooms and bedrooms there were. The BBQ worked. The hot tub worked. Unlike other reviews there were no issues with neighbors... and we were pretty loud. There were a few little issues that we laughed about... and the lake view was only from a few of the rooms... not from the porch... but all-in-all we were happy. The place could use a handyman to fix the rubber on the freezer or mount a few toilet paper holders better... but those were small things. On the plus side there was a pool table, poker table, fussball table and the place was as big as a castle. We had no issues checking in or out. The late check out was sweet! Good property. (P.S. Bring your own BBQ tools, blender and knives. 30 knives in the place and none could cut a tri-tip.)"
