"We just returned from Big Bear and very much enjoyed our stay at Laura's Cabin. Laura was super speedy and efficient to reply to all our questions and we had a few since we traveled with two little kids. The cabin is more like a home than a rental property; which makes it such a perfect choice. I could not think of an item the house does not already have in stock, so we cooked up a storm and enjoyed the fire place. Location is ideal, the slopes and lake are pretty close and the area around the cabin are lovely. I would recommend the cabin to everybody and we will return for sure."

"Great condo for our family of 6. Lake level was low so no good for swimming this year, but we still hung out on the deck and in backyard. Very close to Village. Big Bear Marina close by for boat rentals.
Morning and evening were very tranquil and relaxing."

"We are new to California and found this great rental online. The pictures are accurate and the rental was perfect for two families of 4. We had an excellent time, enjoyed the home and look forward to coming back."

"There were 13 members to our party (7 adults, 2 teens, 2 adolescents, 1 toddler, 1 baby). The house is beautiful. The kitchen is truly high end with a spacious, open layout directly onto the living room. It made it easy to cook while keeping an eye on the little ones. The bedrooms were adequate. The bathrooms were high end as well. One of the bedrooms upstairs does not have a bathroom attached to it. The tree house in the backyard was cute, but surprisingly my kids did not care for it. The neighborhood was great - quiet and beautiful. My main complaint is with Destination Big Bear - the reason for 4 stars, not 5 stars. When I called to report/discuss items in the house which needed to be addressed (screen in the laundry room was broken, dead moth was found squished against the inside of the kitchen window, toilet on the main floor was not functioning, carpet in the bedroom upstairs was so dirty it had to be taken away, one of the windows upstairs did not have a handle and thus could not be opened), the representative at Destination Big Bear was very annoyed that I had called and borderline rude. She made it very clear that my call was not appreciated and she was quick to try to disconnect the call. I found this to be very infuriating and unprofessional. Despite her lack of professionalism, Destination Big Bear quickly dispatched a handyman and housekeeping to the house. Both the handyman and the housekeeper were incredibly helpful and friendly!!!! Overall, this is truly a beautiful and inviting home. I only wish my experience with the representative at Destination Big Bear was more positive. Also, this home is ~15 minutes by car from the town."
