  • Best Summer Vacation - Perfect for 4 Families

"This home was amazing! A beautiful multi level, luxury home with an increadable view, close to everything. We had 4 families (8 adults & 7 kids) stay very comfortably. All the kids stayed downstairs in the bedrooms off the game room. We decided to assign each family a bathroom, which worked out great for us. The kitchen is huge, and stocked with anything you would need, pots, pans, knives, cooking utinsils, plates, cups, mixing bowls, even some spices. There is a huge dinning table that seats 10 and a bunch of barstools around the kitchen counter so their was a seat for everyone. The house is super clean and has all kinds extras and details. The garage is huge, so we could store all our bikes and still park a trailer and a car in it. The house is at the end of the street, with it's side to a big hill that we hiked up but, would be great to sled in the winter. The kids hung out in the game room playing pool and listening to music. We enjoyed the amazing Indian restaurant but mostly cooked in. We did lots of hiking, biking, some fishing and rode the luge and go-carts. We wanted to go on some paddle boats and hang out on the lake but it was actually very mild weather and pretty windy while we were there, but their are tons of things to do there in the summer. My only complaint would be, that there was only one key to the house, which made it difficult when we went to differant activities from each other. The kids are already begging us to rent this again. It is obvious that the owners go out of their way to make this an enjoybale and comfotable place to relax. I would deffinately recommend this home."

  • Large modern and comfortable house for large group

"Very nice home for a large group. We spent 3 nights in Big Bear Lake at the Castle for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Great Location, lots of amenities (sans air conditioning) great proximity to town, supermarket and lake. Fireplace, hot tub, charcoal grill, and pool table, laundry were all a hit. Plenty to do in the area including, boating, tubing, jet ski, stand up paddling, restaurants (Captain's Anchorage). Overall would highly recommend."

  • lots of room and great yard

"The cabin was very big and spacious but the furniture needs to be updated. The pullout sofas have terrible mattress and could not be used which we had counted on them. The furniture on the back deck had broken chairs and also gave splinters from the rotting wood. The sinks in some bathrooms had no water pressure and when I opened the sliding glass shower door it shaddered to pieces, thank goodness I only got small cuts on my arm. The office was very nice and sent the maintanence guy over 1st thing in the morning. This could be a 5 star cabin with alittle TLC. We had a good time with family and friends. Loved the big kitchen and the jacuzzi was great!"

  • Fabulous stay

"We had the best time at this lake house. Everything was perfect. We used the spa and even rented a boat right next door. The house is so nice and clean and offered so many amenities – we played pool almost every night. The location was great because we were able to walk to the Village and the Bowling Barn. I highly recommend this cabin. We will be back!"
