  • The perfect getaway

"My family & I have rented this cabin several times every year for the past 4 years. The first thing that is obvious every time is how well kept & clean everything is. The beds are comfortable, the bedding is always fresh and there's plenty of extra blankets. The kids love the bunk beds, they're always inviting a friend to come along. I actually locked ourselves out just before midnight on time. As my last resort I desperately called Jason. He called me back and had us inside within 30 minutes. I couldn't thank him enough. It was the first snowfall of the ski season, there was no vacancy anywhere else we called. The cabin is walking distance to the lake, slopes, stores & restaurants. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable & affordable place to stay."

  • Probably better in winter

"Meg was exceptionally responsive and answered questions by text upon our arrival with patience and efficiency. The location was perfect and the cottage was comfortable. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck. 3 things to be aware of: (1) the master bedroom has a skylight right above the bed and a window without a curtain. As our stay was over the longest day of the year, we were up between 5:30 and 6:00 am every morning because of the light coming in (UGH). I don't think this would be an issue in the winter; (2) it is definitely walk-able to the village and we did that, just be aware the walk back is all uphill, my 5 year old could not walk it and I worked up a sweat pushing the 2 year old in her stroller. May not be an issue for older kids and adults in good health; and (3) we thoroughly enjoyed our first night or two in the amazing hot tub, but then the chlorine smell was off the charts and made it unusable. Not sure when the weekly spa cleaning service comes, but maybe this was right after that. Would recommend for adults who are early risers or a family during ski season."
