"I spent my 30th Birthday here with a few friends for the weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. Since only 2 of us were skiing, the location really made it easy for everyone keep in touch throughout the day. We were able to wake up, catch and early chair and ski for about an hour, then walk back to the condo for breakfast with the rest of the group. When we left to head back to the mountain, they went into town to get lunch and supplies for that night. Once the mountain closed, we all met at the base bar for a couple of celebratory drinks. This wouldn't have been possible if we weren't so close.
The condo was the perfect size and the fireplace kept the place warm at night. The hot tub has a great view and was great after a full day on the mountain. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away with a small group."

"This house is tucked away off the road and up a driveway. It has a great view of the ski runs on Bear Mountain. There is a porch that wraps around two sides of the house, with tables and chairs outside for those sunny, warmish afternoons in winter. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans and appliances for any cooking need. The living room is broken up into two areas, featuring nice couches, chairs and tables conducive to group chatting. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other two have queen sized beds with a bunk above. (I think kids would really like the upstairs bunk.) Since our group was also a bunch of Internet nerds, I can report this cabin has good wireless connectivity and bandwidth. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. The hot water in the upstairs bathroom was on almost immediately--no waiting around on a cold morning for a shower. The water pressure was really good. Highly recommended as a comfortable retreat!"

"My family and I travel for work, we got in a bind in the home we were staying at and I called the owner of big bear chalet, she was very kind and allowed us to move immediately! Upon arrival we were stunned at how much better this cozy cabin looked in person! It had everything we needed, plus a hot tub in the Forrest! This is one of the cleanest homes we have been in! She was super accommodating to our family and we can't thank her enough! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy, well kept, great location, experience in Big Bear! Thank again!"

"The Farmhouse is located right next to the airport, just a few minutes drive to the lake and downtown Big Bear. We stayed there with our dogs and it was nice to have a fully fenced yard for them to roam around in. The farmhouse was clean and well organized. There is a fair amount of noise from helicopters and planes, but that only went on during the day."
