"Stayed for a long weekend with 2 other families and had a great time. The rental is amazing, the kitchen is a dream. Really like the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom. A TV in each room is a nice touch. The owner was great to work with and responded to all my questions. The unit is very clean and the slopes can be seen from the front yard. I highly recommend this place."

"We had the opportunity to stay in the Smith Cabin over President's Day weekend. The house easily accommodated two families with the four kids between us happily taking over the bunk bed room. The house was clean, spacious, light and well stocked with basic amenities. The beds were comfortable and the Jacuzzi on the deck - under a blanket of stars - was the perfect remedy for tired skiing muscles! We would absolutely stay here again and enthusiastically recommend you do the same! The only thing I would caution is that there is a staircase down to the two secondary bedrooms so if you have very small children, I would recommend bringing a portable gate."

"My family and friends’ family stayed at Sol and Kim’s cabin for the first time. It was also our first time in Big Bear to enjoy skiing and snowboarding. The cabin was amazing!! From the beautiful decorations and personal touch inside the cabin to a gorgeous lake view and quiet surrounding outside, we fell in love immediately. You can definitely feel the love and pride throughout the cabin. In addition, Sol and Kim welcomed us with yummy handmade cookies and a personalized welcome sign. There was also a welcome letter, a little history about them and their cabin, a nice phone call to check up on us the first day there…. We were very impressed with their sincerity and hospitality . The cabin information book that they provided us was also very informative and helpful. We didn’t have to wonder or tried to figure it out how to use the SPA, where the lights are and all those little things… All the information we needed to enjoy and stay in the cabin was all there! You can immediately start enjoying your stay as your own home.
We are so glad that we found Sol and Kim’s cabin and met them!!
We are looking forward to the next vacation! We would absolutely love to come back and stay in their cabin again in the near future and even make it our tradition for years to come."

". It was great that on a busy winter weekend we were able to just walk to the ski slopes in 2 minutes rather than worry about parking. We also were able to walk home for lunch instead of eating on the mountain.
2. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking as well as a nice bbq out back.
3. We were able to bring our dog to enjoy the weekend with us!
4. Property was very neat and clean, would stay again!
The location of this Bear Mountain rental house is perfect, and my friends and I had an amazing stay. Not only was it comfortable, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, but the outdoor space complete with a BBQ was a nice touch. We spent the weekend enjoying the lovely scenery, and our dog was even able to come enjoy the trip as well, since there is a fenced dog run. I was nervous that a pet friendly house wouldn't be as nice (which we experienced with other rentals; the fault of the renters and the owner, in my opinion) but I was wrong. It was very clean and tidy; it is clear that everything had been cleaned before we came.
The house is a very short walk from the ski slopes; it just took a couple of minutes to walk. Not having to drive to the slopes is so much easier and more convenient. The other attractions nearby within walking distance and short driving distance also helped to make the trip more fun. Hiking and visiting the nearby zoo were great fun, an the central location of this cabin let us pack more into our day."
