"What a wonderful property right on the lakefront. This beautiful property is perfection and impeccably kept. A great place for friend or family gatherings, or just for the two of you. Personally, I spent a lot of time in the sun room just marveling over the view of the lake. Cooking dinner at sunset in the west facing kitchen while watching the clouds roll in the sun setting, was pure serenity. The open space decks and patios, along with private beach area provides for some great elbow room with beautiful views. The cool weather made the dip in the Jacuzzi all the better. We never had a reason to leave the whole weekend except for a bike ride or to go feed the ducks. The cottage just makes you feel so happy! This is a must have location for your vacation!"

"My husband and I stayed at Bearfootin' for two nights on our way to a wedding and fell in love with the cabin. Sitting on a quiet street with a view of the lake cannot be beat! The cabin is decorated just as you would expect a cabin in the woods should be, warm and welcoming! The front porch is fantastic for enjoying some cocktails on while watching the sun go down or in the early morning as it rises over the lake! All the amenities provided made for an easy, carefree getaway. It is close to absolutely everything! We will definitely be back to enjoy it again in the near future! Wonderful memories were made, thank you to Bridget for being so accommodating...it was easy from start to finish!"

"Lovely home high up in the mountains, nice neighbors, and fire roads and trails abound for runners, hikers, or mountain bikers in the summer! Close enough to town to grab what you need. Fun to get lost!
Home DOES need someone to come and spend 8 hours or so cleaning out the game closet (no complete games), getting rid of the VHS movies and old coffee pots (none worked) and old technology laying around....all the junk is great to an extent, but i think at least 50% of the closets full of kids' toys and kitchen cups, etc could disappear. Just needs a dash of TLC to be perfect. And--people drink coffee--make sure the coffee pot WORKS! Update utensils and kitchen stuff. :)
Still gets a 5 star rating though! Owner great to work with! We would book again!"

"I sit here contemplating as to whether I want to tell the truth about this cabin. I am afraid that such a good review could possibly infringe on the availability when we want to use it again. Just kidding! From my first encounter with Mary Ellen I felt that this was going to be a good fit and it was. This cabin is all about entertainment and fun, pool table, foosball, electronic darts, and a ping pong table. The rooms are very nicely decorated and very comfortable. There were four couples in our group and to say we had a wonderful stay is an understatement. The cabin is just Steps away from the Summit. Unfortunately we were there in September so no snow. But we did have a great time at the Octoberfest and touring the Village. Shopping and restaurants are all close by. Would we go back again? You bet we would!!"
