  • Perfection in Big Bear!!!

"This amazing cabin has it all....literally!!! Mike and Erika have left no stone unturned and have thought of everything you might need during your stay. And you could entertain a village with the amount of dishes, pots and pans, serving ware, etc.! It is beautifully decorated and the furnishings are gorgeous! Just minutes away from shopping, restaurants, the zoo, Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, The Village, etc., my family found this cabin to be warm, inviting and very comfortable! The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfy! The floor plan is also amazing! We were able to put the kids to bed in their loft, pour a glass of wine and relax in front of the fire in the huge back game room on the other side of the cabin. Even a few games of pool didn't wake them :) But when they WERE awake, there were plenty of kid friendly games provided for them...pool, board games, electronic darts and Wii, just to name a few. The tree swing was also a huge hit! Bottom line, don't pass on this cabin! We definitely plan on returning! :)"

  • Peaceful and relaxing

"Cabin was as expected, very cozy yet space for everything. Kitchen is tiny but cute. Loved the jacuzzi and listening to the wolves howl. You could hear them at various times through the day/evening from the zoo. Really enjoyed being up high and a sense of remoteness even with neighbors nearby. Stores all within an easy 10 minute drive. Hiking with the dogs was nice, too. Small but available fenced in yard was a huge plus! Jacuzzi a bit touchy but it worked fine. BBQ requires coals. Kitchen soap/cleaning supplies hit/miss so a trip to the store might be needed. Plates/cups/utensils/pans/pots/etc.all there. There is a coffee maker but I brought a Keurig. Refrigerator full size and clean. TV/Cable/DVD players are tough to figure out. One remote is JUST the TV. Use the Menu to change where receiving from. Other remote is for the cable and the guide does work. I did not find a remote for the DVD player so I had to use the (TV Remote) Menu to change the setting then manually start the DVD player. It worked fine. There are a few things you could view on-demand but nothing from a premium channel so bring movies if you want to watch something in particular. My only complaint was the road construction right outside the front door. Being awakened by the wolves was delightful. At 7am by a jackhammer 3 out of the 5 days was not. And the noise lasted a good portion of those days. No way to predict that sort of thing, tho', so no fault just disappointing so I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Lysa (property manager) and Kerry King were very easy to work with. I would definitely stay again!"

  • Great cabin and location

"The cabin was perfect for us, 2 adults, 2 teens and a dog. We went during the summer, so the skiing didn't matter, but the slopes were right around the corner. The cabin is just minutes from the main village and minutes from big stores (Kmart, Vons, etc.) And it's a quick 5 minute drive to the lake to watch the sunrise. The deck was perfect for just hanging out and the living room was surprisingly roomy. The wood flooring, log-style dining table and the fireplace give the place a warm cabin feel with a clean, modern touch. Solid wifi connection throughout the house and on the deck. Had everything we needed for cooking full meals. Plus, Daryl, the owner, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions before and during the stay."

  • A Wonderful Stay

"My family and I had such a wonderful winter weekend at this beautiful cabin. The cabin felt extremely warm and comfortable. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how clean everything was! It was a perfect place to stay for a family with 8 people. We enjoyed walking around Moonridge and playing in the snow! We would most definitely choose to return to this beautiful cabin. Thank you for such a great stay!"
