"The cabin is so close to the slopes that my 9 year old son and his friend were able to go by themselves! It's less than half a block to the entrance to the slopes and you enter right by the bunny hill, ski down to the chairlift. Ideal. Our 3 year old enjoyed the zoo down the street as well. The cabin itself has three smallish bedrooms and a comfortable living/dining area. There are lots of great 70's touches that add charm, but everything you need to use is upgraded and comfortable. From the hooks on the walls to the bear toilet paper holder, every detail has been worked out thoughtfully. The owner answered all questions immediately and was kind and flexible. I'd like to give this rental MORE than five stars!"

"This house is tucked away off the road and up a driveway. It has a great view of the ski runs on Bear Mountain. There is a porch that wraps around two sides of the house, with tables and chairs outside for those sunny, warmish afternoons in winter. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans and appliances for any cooking need. The living room is broken up into two areas, featuring nice couches, chairs and tables conducive to group chatting. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other two have queen sized beds with a bunk above. (I think kids would really like the upstairs bunk.) Since our group was also a bunch of Internet nerds, I can report this cabin has good wireless connectivity and bandwidth. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. The hot water in the upstairs bathroom was on almost immediately--no waiting around on a cold morning for a shower. The water pressure was really good. Highly recommended as a comfortable retreat!"

"House was great, my friends and I have done an annual trip, and this has been the best house yet! A couple things to note..
- Its a Charcoal Grill, not gas.
- Foosball Table is broken (the feet of the players were snapped off)
- Some stains in the carpet, but as to be expected from a rental home
- Limited kitchenware, best to bring plastic cups, paper plates, etc.
- Its about a 10min drive down back to Big Bear Blvd. lots of windy roads and turns to get here. Can be inconvenient if you need to run down and grab something, but ultimately worth it when you get there and see the view off the balcony.
Will definitely be back!"
