"We love this place! I have stayed a few different times here and always loved it. The location is perfect, the amenities are awesome, it is spacious, and just a wonderful place to stay in Big Bear."

"The cabin is centrally located and within one block of Bear Mountain Ski Resort and the Big Bear Zoo. There is a pick-up for the Mountain Transit at Bear Mountain as well as at the Big Bear Zoo. The Big Bear Trolley also has a pick up at the Big Bear Zoo. In all my years to Big Bear, I have never ridden the Trolley, but the boys went their way on Saturday and the girls went their way, and we needed transportation, so to the Trolley pick-up we went. A fun little mode of transportation! The cabin is clean, nice and has a huge fireplace! There is also a large driveway. The cabin has a large open great room area with a ton of games! Great room and kitchen are located upstairs, making for a nice view of the local area. Master bedroom is also located upstairs with on suite and separate 1/2 bath for the people in the great room area. Huge dining room table and wonderful kitchen with a lot of kitchen items (pots, pans, utensils, tupperware, coffee maker, blender, etc., etc. - the most I have seen in a rental home - so nice!) First floor has two bedrooms with a shared bathroom and laundry room. All bedrooms have their own TV's, which is nice should people want to retreat to their rooms. Garage is huge and has ping pong table. We fit a Toyota Tacoma and Jeep Wrangler in the garage, which was nice, especially if it had snowed. We had a very nice relaxing weekend. We definitely recommend the cabin. Carola & Stephen, the owners, were also fabulous! So prompt on email responses and so kind to offer early check-in and late check-out; prompt deposit refund. Highly recommend this home and these owners. Thanks Carola & Stephen for making this a great weekend - we all had a fantastic time!"

"House was great, my friends and I have done an annual trip, and this has been the best house yet! A couple things to note..
- Its a Charcoal Grill, not gas.
- Foosball Table is broken (the feet of the players were snapped off)
- Some stains in the carpet, but as to be expected from a rental home
- Limited kitchenware, best to bring plastic cups, paper plates, etc.
- Its about a 10min drive down back to Big Bear Blvd. lots of windy roads and turns to get here. Can be inconvenient if you need to run down and grab something, but ultimately worth it when you get there and see the view off the balcony.
Will definitely be back!"

"Whispering Pines was such a delightful experience from beginning to end. I'm still very awestruck by the lovely detail in each and every room, from the overlooking banisters of the second floor, to the elaborately beautiful backyard. It's fun and relaxing for all ages. There's a genuine warmth exuding from this home at every corner, as well as with the wonderful management. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. You really have to see it to believe."
