  • My review:

"Overall, the property was really nice and was perfect for the four small families in our party. I didn't get the layout at first as it is four split levels, but then realized it is actually a cool design. Most of the rooms in the house lead out to one of four separate decks on four separate levels. They all face the lake and are all connected by stairs. Great for large outdoor gatherings. There were also plenty of beds to accommodate our group. It would be nice if the kitchen was better stocked with basic items such as serving spoons, pans, pot holders, etc. The refrigerator was 70 degrees when we arrived. We weren't sure if it was even working but it finally cooled to normal operating temp the next day. The propane tank was nearly empty so we had to conserve. The lake was also very low and not very usable, but obviously that is beyond their control. Most rentals we have stayed in provided some basic toys such as rafts, tubes, outdoor games, etc. Not the case here. Another odd thing was that there was no furniture on the decks except for one which had a few cheap plastic chairs and a plastic table. It would also have been nice if someone had called at some point to confirm everything was in order. Otherwise, the house is really nice and I would recommend it."

  • Great Escape

"Overall we loved the place, location of the place, and all the amenities that were offered inside the cabin/house. Our first experience while driving to Big Bear was somewhat depressing due to that there was no snow on the drive up. But as soon as we got to Bear Mountain, there was plenty of snow to make our vacation feel comforting. Staying at the cabin, which is next to Big Bear Mountain, with a snowy view, comforted us to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Very clean and warm cabin for the families. We felt like home within the first day. Definitely a place we will come back to next year."

  • Everything you need

"We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here! I brought my family and 7 members of my boys Cross Country team. The place comfortably accommodated all of us. The baby crib upstairs was a big plus. There are too many good things to mention about this property. Other than the obvious favorites (hot tub and amazing game room), the place is clean and comes with everything you need to feel right at home. Maintenance service gets 5-Stars from us after taking only 45 minutes to arrive and replace our propane tank and batteries to the upstairs smoke detectors. Really friendly customer service. The property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain views. A short 5-10 minute drive gets you to any store or restaurant you need. The only negative to this property, in my opinion, was the steep driveway but other than that I have nothing but great things to say about it and I'll try to reserve this same place for next summers team camp. Comfortable, peaceful, and everything else I expected."
