Centrally located and very comfortable
". It was great that on a busy winter weekend we were able to just walk to the ski slopes in 2 minutes rather than worry about parking. We also were able to walk home for lunch instead of eating on the mountain.
2. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking as well as a nice bbq out back.
3. We were able to bring our dog to enjoy the weekend with us!
4. Property was very neat and clean, would stay again!
The location of this Bear Mountain rental house is perfect, and my friends and I had an amazing stay. Not only was it comfortable, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, but the outdoor space complete with a BBQ was a nice touch. We spent the weekend enjoying the lovely scenery, and our dog was even able to come enjoy the trip as well, since there is a fenced dog run. I was nervous that a pet friendly house wouldn't be as nice (which we experienced with other rentals; the fault of the renters and the owner, in my opinion) but I was wrong. It was very clean and tidy; it is clear that everything had been cleaned before we came.
The house is a very short walk from the ski slopes; it just took a couple of minutes to walk. Not having to drive to the slopes is so much easier and more convenient. The other attractions nearby within walking distance and short driving distance also helped to make the trip more fun. Hiking and visiting the nearby zoo were great fun, an the central location of this cabin let us pack more into our day."

"Rented this cabin for 8 adults and 2 small children between Xmas and new year's and had a blast. Plenty of room and owner was great to deal with. Only hiccup was heating (pilot kept going out) in game room, but rental company was quick to come over and light the pilot."

"We had some issues when we first arrived, but the owner was very helpful when it came to helping solve them and replied to my e-mails quickly. The house was very roomy and definitely fit everyone nicely. The jacuzzi took a while to heat up, but it was pretty clean. We took our own plates and silverware but there was plenty of plates to use. There were plenty of extra blankets. The location was overall nice and close to everything that we needed."

"I took my 9 year old son up to Big Bear over 4th of July and stayed in this cute adorable cabin. From the moment I booked it, to the last day we were there, it was a fantastic experience! The owner was so sweet, and SO organized! She had everything written down as to how to open up the cabin and what we would need when we got inside. The cabin was so clean and we had everything we could possibly need. It was a perfect size for us and we could easily fit 4 more people. The queen bunk beds were very comfortable. There were so many games and movies, I didn't need to bring anything from home for my young son to play with. It's a short walk to the edge of the lake where we watched fireworks and did some fishing. The Fawnskin area is perfect, as it's not crowded, but yet has it's own little town with a convenient store and a bar, but is close enough to Big Bear Center. I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone who would like a relaxing weekend getaway, whether with family or just a couple of friends."
