The perfect getaway
"My family & I have rented this cabin several times every year for the past 4 years. The first thing that is obvious every time is how well kept & clean everything is. The beds are comfortable, the bedding is always fresh and there's plenty of extra blankets. The kids love the bunk beds, they're always inviting a friend to come along.
I actually locked ourselves out just before midnight on time. As my last resort I desperately called Jason. He called me back and had us inside within 30 minutes. I couldn't thank him enough. It was the first snowfall of the ski season, there was no vacancy anywhere else we called.
The cabin is walking distance to the lake, slopes, stores & restaurants. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable & affordable place to stay."

"My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids aged 13, 11 and 8) had a comfortable 3 night stay in this cabin. The property management team was very accommodating and were quick to reply to all of my inquiries. The cabin was very clean and spacious inside, had a well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, and comfortable beds. The location is in a quiet residential area just a short 3-5 minute drive to the village - it is very close to the Alpine slide. The cabin rests on a slope so there are stairs (30 of them) to get from the parking area to the cabin. You'll want to make sure everyone in your party is capable of climbing the stairs. Once up the stairs the large deck has two tables and is a nice place to take in an outdoor meal, however the deck is aging and has a few dangerous areas (a few boards bending up and lots of splinter dangers). The only other downside was a slight slope between the family room and the kitchen that is easy to slip on so you'll need to be careful. Overall it is a great place for a family getaway."

"We stayed at this rental for 2 nights and it was perfectly located. Just walk across the street and into Bear Mountain Resort. We had a nice view of the mountain and lifts. It was warm, had ample space for 12 people, and it was perfect for lots of children since the furniture was sturdy. This is a simple and functional rental and it worked out well for us. Our only suggestion is that some paper and basic cleaning products be provided. We found the unit clean, but needed to clean up after cooking meals, etc. It would just make things easier."

"Beautifully renovated condo perfect for families with kids who are learning to ski or snow board! It's an easy walk to Snow Summit. Our twin boys enjoyed the bunk room and their own TV. The condo owner thought of everything including nice toiletries, hair dryer, lotion, tissues, laundry soap, critical condiments, coffee (Keurig and multi-service) and there was even a nice bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate the holidays! When we weren't on the slopes, we enjoyed the well-stocked DVD collection, books, foosball table and games (including a wii for the kids). The time between Christmas and New Years is crowded so it was great to relax in the well-appointed condo. The food at Snow Summit was just okay, so it was an option to come back to the condo to eat lunch. Along with skiing, we took the kids to Big Bear Snow Play. We arrived at opening and had fun for about an hour before it became too crowded. We also shopped in Big Bear Village and enjoyed pretty decent Mexican food at El Jacalito Grill. Overall, it was a great trip and we have already recommended this condo to others. There is no bathtub and two small stairwells, so be aware if you have toddlers. Worth the investment to stay at Snow Summit is an absolutely gorgeous condo with a comfortable mountain theme!"
