"There were 13 members to our party (7 adults, 2 teens, 2 adolescents, 1 toddler, 1 baby). The house is beautiful. The kitchen is truly high end with a spacious, open layout directly onto the living room. It made it easy to cook while keeping an eye on the little ones. The bedrooms were adequate. The bathrooms were high end as well. One of the bedrooms upstairs does not have a bathroom attached to it. The tree house in the backyard was cute, but surprisingly my kids did not care for it. The neighborhood was great - quiet and beautiful. My main complaint is with Destination Big Bear - the reason for 4 stars, not 5 stars. When I called to report/discuss items in the house which needed to be addressed (screen in the laundry room was broken, dead moth was found squished against the inside of the kitchen window, toilet on the main floor was not functioning, carpet in the bedroom upstairs was so dirty it had to be taken away, one of the windows upstairs did not have a handle and thus could not be opened), the representative at Destination Big Bear was very annoyed that I had called and borderline rude. She made it very clear that my call was not appreciated and she was quick to try to disconnect the call. I found this to be very infuriating and unprofessional. Despite her lack of professionalism, Destination Big Bear quickly dispatched a handyman and housekeeping to the house. Both the handyman and the housekeeper were incredibly helpful and friendly!!!! Overall, this is truly a beautiful and inviting home. I only wish my experience with the representative at Destination Big Bear was more positive. Also, this home is ~15 minutes by car from the town."

Perfect Base Camp for a Big Bear Mountain Adventure!
"We had an excellent trip up to Big Bear and it was so lovely to have a cozy cabin where we could share meals together and turn in for the night, when we weren't out skiing, snowboard, hiking, and exploring. There were windows everywhere with views of the slopes and the falling snow (magic!) -- truly a perfect place to make base during our trip to the mountain.
The owners were very organized and super helpful from start to finish; anticipating any questions we may have had. They made the process so easy and stress free! Thank you!"

"My family and I stayed at Lakefront Serenity and it was great. It was very clean, right on the lake and on a really quiet, kind of secluded road. The spa was so nice in the backyard overlooking the lake. We actually rented it through their property manager, Michelle at Big Bear Dream Cabins, and she was so nice to work with. We would love to stay here again."

"We spent a lovely Memorial weekend at Tammy's "Home Again" cabin. It was perfectly suited for our family of 12 and very well appointed. We really liked the layout because there were 3 bedrooms on the main floor where both couples stayed and the toddlers occupied the full size bunkroom down the hall from us. The teenagers took the 2 bedrooms downstairs so they had their own space and could be as noisy as they wanted to be. The cabin was immaculately clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes and even some spices! The spa was nice and hot when we arrived and we enjoyed our 3 nights outside gathered around the deck fireplace. We also made use of the bar fridge to stock all our beverages. The pool table and cabinet full of games kept the kiddos entertained. The washer/dryer came in handy for washing the spa towels on a daily basis. The driveway is big enough for two large trucks or 3 or 4 compact cars. We liked how quiet the neighborhood was but it was still close enough to the "city" where all the shops and restaurants were. I'd recommend a visit to the village. We enjoyed Saucy Mama's for
lunch one day and the cute little shops. It's a bit busy on the weekends though, so parking can be a bit of a challenge. Overall, great, peaceful stay. Thanks Tammy for your hospitality!"
