"Great 2 bedroom upper floor above owner's lower unit. Must take stairs but view & jacuzzi on balcony are worth it. Comfortable, cozy for 4. Nice kitchen for own meals - bring your own spices & condiments...and shampoo & conditioner for the bath. Bath towels & linens provided -- bring beach towels. 2 big ++ : walking or very short drive to Village & Marinas AND trailhead at end of Cameron taking Cherry -- trail goes about 5 miles up & around to come out at Knickerbocker. Note that the Master bedroom gets a lot of light -- not good if you're a late sleeper!"

"My family and I travel for work, we got in a bind in the home we were staying at and I called the owner of big bear chalet, she was very kind and allowed us to move immediately! Upon arrival we were stunned at how much better this cozy cabin looked in person! It had everything we needed, plus a hot tub in the Forrest! This is one of the cleanest homes we have been in! She was super accommodating to our family and we can't thank her enough! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy, well kept, great location, experience in Big Bear! Thank again!"

"The cabin is so close to the slopes that my 9 year old son and his friend were able to go by themselves! It's less than half a block to the entrance to the slopes and you enter right by the bunny hill, ski down to the chairlift. Ideal. Our 3 year old enjoyed the zoo down the street as well. The cabin itself has three smallish bedrooms and a comfortable living/dining area. There are lots of great 70's touches that add charm, but everything you need to use is upgraded and comfortable. From the hooks on the walls to the bear toilet paper holder, every detail has been worked out thoughtfully. The owner answered all questions immediately and was kind and flexible. I'd like to give this rental MORE than five stars!"

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
It was a great getaway for our family of 9. The loft was perfect for the grandparents while the 'nest' provided a great gathering area for everyone. We could put the kids to sleep upstairs and not worry about waking them while playing games downstairs. The minimal furniture and decorative items were perfect for our family of 3 young ones who like to touch everything. The location on the lake couldn't have been better. We had a blast! The only thing missing was a dishwasher"
