"Location, was Perfect! This lovely 2 bedroom cabin was located in the most perfect spot. It was clean and close to EVERYTHING. Restaurants, grocery stores and outdoor activities. • Super nice place!

"We loved staying at camp run a muk! The cabin was very spacious and had all the comforts of home. Really wanted to just move in! We had a big group and the kitchen was excellent for preparing large meals and hanging out! Super cozy, organized, pretty, and fun! Sauna and jacuzzi were great! Played a bunch of games from the cabinet plus lots of games of pool. Watched videos and had a fire going. Seriously we didn't wanna leave! Also- the owner is a sweetheart! Loved that she was available for any questions over the phone or email."

Big Bear Cabins: A Family Escape

Convenient to all major southern California metropolitan areas, Big Bear City and lake area is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. Located in the picturesque San Bernadino mountains, the Big Bear area offers a wide array of places to visit and things to do.

Big Bear cabins and Big Bear rental houses are plenty and an affordable, roomier alternative to the typical hotel. With a wide selection to choose from in the area, finding the right Big Bear cabins for you and your family vacation should be a breeze.

Why Big Bear?

There are truly few places in southern California that offer so much in one place. Not only is Big Bear situated in the protected San Bernadino National Forest, it is also home to a variety of outdoor activities that the family can enjoy year around. From skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to hiking, mountain biking and water skiing in the summer--you'll find no shortage in the number of ways to make the most of your time outside.

Not to mention the town of Big Bear itself, where you can find a variety of quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants to cater to any taste. You'll discover Big Bear's unique pioneer spirit and heritage to pervade it's buildings and citizens, making for a special experience regardless of the time of year.

Choosing Your Home Away From Home

Packing a large group to visit the Big Bear area for a week, or even a weekend, can be an expensive and time consuming process. You will find that researching Big Bear rental houses for your place to stay will be definitely worth the time.

Often half as expensive and four times the size of a traditional hotel room accommodation, Big Bear vacation rentals pack a whole lot for the price.
