  • Awesome stay!

"My husband, two daughters (1 and 3) and small dog had such a wonderful stay (3 nights) at this cabin. First of all, it is huge and stocked with everything you need. Our kids loved exploring inside and out - the inside is beautifully decorated and the yard is spacious. Second, it is within walking distance to the store, restaurants, lake and park. We had a great time at the lake but there was so much to do at the cabin itself as well! We loved the hot tub and the board games. It was so nice to have an actual crib and a high chair for our little one. Rochelle was great to work with and coordinated everything seamlessly. Thanks again!"

  • Roomy and relaxing

"Stayed here with two other couples for a wedding at the San Moritz Lodge. Plenty of room to get ready and only a short drive (5 minutes) to the lodge. the market is close enough for last minute quick trips. Lots of room, comfortable living area. Loved the openness of the living area on the main floor. Home was clean and welcoming. Access to all bedrooms is down one or two flights of stairs, but having 5 bedrooms (2 with bunk beds) was very convenient. The views from the balcony/deck on each floor is really nice and the outdoor furniture is comfortable and in good shape. Parking is limited so it works best if you can carpool. Would have rated 5stars except the stairs to all bedrooms wouldn't work for those who have a hard time with them. David the owner was very responsive and helpful. Would rent again."

  • Quiet and Peaceful

"2nd stay for my wife and I. We enjoy the nice clean home in a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to enjoy the downtown area."

  • Adorable Crestline

"My family also accompanied by 2 large-ish dogs, rented this little gem for a weekend in July. Betty thought of almost every detail and provided nearly everything for a fuss free vacation. There was champagne on the dining table (would have been nice to have ice) , a "movie ready" basket with assorted treats, mints on the pillows and my personal favorite-historical books about the area. As one former reviewer pointed out, this wonderful retreat is in an area entirely consisting of vertical living. That being said there are numerous steps (about 2 flights) down to the front door from the street, and a flight of stairs down to the bedrooms/bathroom, additionally there are steps to access the hillside under the home. It is probably not an ideal location for someone needing friendlier/handicap accessibility. We wanted a full on mountain experience with our family and we got it! Our accommodations were wonderful, clean and well stocked, and the town of Crestline is rich in local history and recreation. Our dogs even got the full experience and hopefully learned not to stick their noses in little skunks' holes'! As a side line to that note, Crestline pretty much rolls up the sidewalks by 10pm, and 7-11 only carries so much. Plan accordingly."
