"Our family had a great time! The owner is very responsive and was so easy to work with. Cabin had everything we needed. It was cozy, clean and super cute. If you aren't used to very firm mattresses that can take a little getting used to and I wish we would have brought a few throw blankets for curling up on the couch for our movie nights. Other than that, it was pretty much perfect. Close to town, the kids had a great time at Snow Play. I'm not sure we would be able to book again as my son has severe pet allergies and he definitely reacted on the first night, so we know there has been pets there (although it was so clean we couldn't tell) however if it weren't for that we would go back for sure! Thanks for everything!"

The seclusion and owner set this property apart from the rest, A+...
"We stayed at Tony's cabin in March of 2013 with two small kids. If you are looking for a more resort like property, or a jacuzzi deck this is not the property for you, this is a property for people that want a CABIN. The wood burning stove does an excellent job of heating the cabin evenly and keeping it cozy even when the snow flies outside (we had one night with snow). A few things we learned that will come in handy to future visitors...
Don't overpack, the cabin has plenty of utensils, pots, pans and so on and in the end we were glad we brought some paper plates and cups so we didn't have to wash dishes, but most everything you need as far as kitchenware is there. Firewood is everywhere (we brought some). The cabin is isolated and quiet and you will sleep great, town in close enough if you need something. Just understand this is a rustic property, there is hot water for quick showers, but this is a simple few frills property. When we drove up at first we were a little put off by some clutter around the cabin, but understand the owner is building an addition so that part is a work in progress and explains some of the tools about.
Super nice owner, easy to deal with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again. Great scenery, two kids and we never turned the TV on once."

"This house is tucked away off the road and up a driveway. It has a great view of the ski runs on Bear Mountain. There is a porch that wraps around two sides of the house, with tables and chairs outside for those sunny, warmish afternoons in winter. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans and appliances for any cooking need. The living room is broken up into two areas, featuring nice couches, chairs and tables conducive to group chatting. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other two have queen sized beds with a bunk above. (I think kids would really like the upstairs bunk.) Since our group was also a bunch of Internet nerds, I can report this cabin has good wireless connectivity and bandwidth. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. The hot water in the upstairs bathroom was on almost immediately--no waiting around on a cold morning for a shower. The water pressure was really good. Highly recommended as a comfortable retreat!"
