"Really relaxing, quiet cabin. Adorable place, my husband said several times it was perfect to live in forever. Close to several parks, 2 nice fishing spots within 20 min drive, great restaurants and shops nearby. Only complaints, no barbeque, and bring your own pillows. Also, they are pet friendly and my dogs were very comfortable and happy."

"My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the lodge over Halloween weekend and it exceeded every expectation.
First off Ida was beyond accommodating, we arrived to a bottle of champagne, chocolate, wood for the fire, fresh fruit, a delicious basket of home made banana bread, and rooms full of fresh flowers. EVERY room. We had plush thick robes, clean soft beds, and an awesome jacuzzi to soak in. The lodge is walking distance to the charming town Pine Cove where we ate and shopped and enjoyed a Halloween parade and harvest festival. During the week we stayed we went hiking, walked to town every morning to enjoy breakfast at the Red Kettle, watched a family of deer from the jacuzzi (the deer came very close) we had cozy fires in the fireplace, watched movies (The Lodge has wifi and direct tv) We enjoyed cooking in the huge kitchen which has every tool you could possibly need. The first half of our trip was warmer and sunny and the second half we actually got a little snow which was AMAZING to enjoy from the jacuzzi. The lodge has stunning views, lots of privacy. We will be back again for sure. I have stayed in many cabins around Idyllwild and none have matched this lodge. Its very very clean and well maintained, a five minute walk to town. My husband and I began concocting ways to stay forever..... Thank you Ida for sharing this magical place with us. We are incredibly grateful."

"This is our first time renting a home in Idyllwild and we couldn't have been more pleased with this place and our rental experience. The house was more than spacious enough for our family which included 5 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby and 2 dogs. Everything was provided for (linens, kitchen utensils, towels, dog bowls, etc.); all we had to bring up was our food and clothes! The interior was very clean and updated and functional for our needs. The views from the deck were stunning and a relaxing place to enjoy coffee early in the morning and wine in the evening. The home was at the top of the mountain so it was extremely peaceful and felt secluded even though the town was a short 5-10 minute drive away. From the beginning, Irma made the rental process easy and was always available to answer questions or concerns. I have already recommended this place to several people and would look no further when deciding on a rental home in Idyllwild!"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The cabin setup is nice. The upstairs loft has 3 separate rooms, tho there are no walls separating them to the ceiling. Not much privacy there, but that didn't matter to us. The downstairs bedroom was roomy and clean. The washer/dryer is in the bedroom closet, tho I did not use it. There is a separate downstairs bathroom that was sufficient as well. I loved the SUPER high ceiling in the living and dining area. Also loved that most of the walls facing the back were either sliding glass doors or large windows with views. Very relaxing to look out of. There is a hot tub on the rear porch and several seating areas on the porch. I wish there was central a/c as we did not see there was. My dogs got heated at times, but I found fans that I set up in the living room and that helped. Also, my wish having dogs was that their was fencing on the property, but that is a personal thing that some may not agree with. My adult sons enjoyed hiking at the many trails nearby. They did say to warn of hornets as a few people in their group got stung. The center of town was close. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone."
