"We stayed at this cabin for 4 days with 6 adults. Someone was there to meet us when we arrived to show us how everything worked. The location of the property is great - in the middle of the forrest, walking distance from downtown, and right on Strawberry Creek. The Cabin was very large, and beautiful (the photos don't do it justice), and there several distinct areas such as dining room, office, game room and several decks, a hammock, swings, and fenced-in area for dogs. You can hike directly from house into mountains. We came with senior citizens and teenagers, and there was something for everybody! We really loved it, and hope to come back."

"We stayed at this cabin a few weeks ago, and I'm finally getting around to reviewing. Normally, I would have forgotten about it by now, but the cabin and Max were so nice that it would just be wrong not to recommend staying here.
We brought our 6 year old daughter and "senior" dog for a weekend in the snow. The snow didn't show, but that's not the owner's fault. We still had a great experience because the cabin is cozy and everything we needed was onsite. Especially if you're a city-dweller and just want to "rough it" for a few days, you can enjoy nature without the hassles that come with camping. Max even called me the day of our arrival so we'd know about things to do in the area, etc.
Jacuzzi is over the top and perfect for our little family to commune in the cold weather outside.
The tenants that left the day before we arrived broke the fireplace (jerks!), and there was no time to get it fixed before we moved in. I mention this because, although it was a bummer, Max was very good about making up for it. He's someone you can trust to provide you with a great place to stay."

"Great home! This house is truly in an ideal location of Idyllwild, as the town is just a couple blocks away. The house and yard is bigger than appears on the ad. My favorite memory is sitting in the spa while looking at the stars and the trees! So serene and beautiful. The home is a little dated and old, but hey what do you expect - it also adds character. The rooms are big and there indeed is more sleeping space too. There was cable tv. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. We unfortunately ran out of toilet paper tough! (The bathrooms are not well stocked - so bring soaps etc). There are plenty of towels though. The home was clean. Anyway - great place! I will stay here again and highly recommend it."
