"I just returned from a weekend at this great one bedroom cabin. The fenced yard was great for my dog - he loved exploring through all the plants! The house itself is a good size for a one bedroom, and was very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with the basics, and even had a few extras (espresso maker, muffin pans, not things you usually find in a vacation rental). The wrap-around deck is really big. I could not believe the view from the hot tub! This is a great location. This home is well maintained and really very comfortable. We will be back! Thank you Max!"Guest: Jennie R. "My one night at Lily Rock Lodge was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and architecturally interesting. The tasteful decor has just the right touch of whimsy. Simply said, this was my type of "roughing it" - which isn't roughing it at all. It was perfect!"Guest: Mark G Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 29, 2014View listing
"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. The windows are amazing, adding so much light. It is wonderful looking out and seeing the beautiful pine trees around you. This cabin has everything. All we had to show up with was our clothes and food. The amenities are excellent. The kitchen has great pans, cooking utensils & all the spices, condiments, coffee and teas... and the outdoor BBQ was perfect. The outside deck was private and had great views of the pine trees and was perfect for hanging out, eating meals and watching the squirels, various birds, and the so cute hummingbirds that come to feed. The beds are super comfortable with excellent linens. The cabin rooms are all spacious, especially the living room, both bedrooms and (2) 10 x10 bathrooms. The bathroom with the jacquizzi bathtub has 2 walls with windows that you can relax in the tub and look out at the pine trees in the distance, beautiful as the sun is setting. There is another delightful sitting area in the front that is so quiet that you can hear the wind blowing lightly thru the pine trees. Susan the owner was very easy to communicate with and was very prompt on all e-mail or phone questions. Her instructions she sends out in advance are very detailed and easy to follow making our stay so much more enjoyable. There are great restaurants in this small town that she also gave us great recommendations for and being only a third of a mile from town, it was so easy to get to. We would not hesitate to come back and stay her and would definitely recommend it! I am already trying to plan my next trip back, maybe during the winter of 2015."Guest: Sandy L Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing
"My husband and I just spent a glorious week at the "cabin" in Idyllwild. It was our third year at the "cabin" as we love the Idyllwild Jazz Festival, and we've already reserved it for next year. It is the house of wood and glass and views you only dream about. We had a tough time pulling ourselves away to go to listen to music and eat wonderful food in the village because the "cabin" kept drawing us back, whether watching the alpine glow, and the up close view of the turkey vulture and wood peckers from the veranda or listening to the breeze move the melodic wind chimes. It was quite an experience to remember. Each and every room is decorated for comfort and to enhance the experience. The kitchen, seating area and views are stellar. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us every step of the way. We can't wait to return! Marilyn"Guest: Mare Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
Idyllwild Travel Tips
Adventurous travelers are well-suited to take advantage of Idyllwild cabins. This area, typically associated with Pine Cove and Fern Valley, is one of three adjacent communities that offers a wide range of activities for any season. Some of the best Inland Empire vacation rentals are available for guests to take advantage of Idyllwild lodging options.
Why Choose from Idyllwild Cabins?
The lack of true personality from hotels on a vacation can undermine a great experience. Running into other guests, planning around the hotel's schedules such as breakfast and checking in/out, and other inconveniences can damper the mood, indeed. If you consider travelling to the area, Idyllwild cabins can ease these drawbacks. Options on these rentals can allow you to choose something that is suited to your needs, where you won't have to subject your group to the constraints of hotels. You can get a kitchen, fit the whole family, or find other amenities as needed.
Known as "the hill" to locals, Idyllwild lodging options can allow you to experience the area the right way. Those who enjoy outdoor activities will love the mountain resort-like area that features rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding, and other exciting things to do. Idyllwild brings four seasons of weather, which is quite interesting for travellers. Thus, in the winter you can enjoy the activities of snowy weather – or drive an hour south to Palms to Pines Highway, a warm desert area.
