"My husband and I stayed in this home with our 2 young adult children and their significant others for 4 nights in July and had so much fun together, we hated to leave! It was a very comfortable place to stay....very homey! It was very clean and roomy and had everything we needed to cook meals except the groceries (there were many condiments, spices, etc.) The deck was a wonderful place to lounge and drink our morning coffee. The neighborhood was peaceful and we enjoyed the songs of the different birds. We took walks around the lake each morning using the ALA private trail and hung out at Tavern Bay Beach Club in the afternoons and used their lounge chairs. The downstairs game room was a hugh hit! We all stayed up late each night to shoot pool, darts, and listen to music. The bar was fantastic, right out of a club, and came well equipped with bar glasses. My husband loves to play bartender and he had a blast. Thank you so much for a wonderful get away!"Guest: Crewbaby Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 1, 2014View listing
"Our stay at Kim's home was the best. The house met all our requirements (which are many) from air conditioning, Cable, pool table, linens, BBQ to trash pickup and beach access. This stay was great. I really appreciate the decorations that really make you feel at home, not at a vacation rental. It does have allot of steps but that was no problem for us. It had all the amendities you would need at home and was very clean when we arrived. The house is a short 10 minute drive to the village and really close to Blue Jay where Jensens market is should you need something you forgot. It is all just a few steps from the lake. We did not figure out that the access path to the lake was right accross the street from the house until our last day there. Definately locate that early on in your stay because you can take many a long walks there and get the water too. Kim was quick to answer my emails and freely gave her cell phone number should something come up during our stay. The only thing we did not pay attention to was that the house did not have WiFi, so we activitated that service on our cell phones while we were there and we were ready to go. I would highly recommend everyone to visit this house. It sleeps 10 so large Families would do welll here since the basement is fairly large with the pool table, card table and TV."Guest: Bell Family Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
"A group group of friends and I really wanted to rent a cabin for a weekend up in the mountains. After some research I came across this cabin and I really couldn't be happier. We all had such a great time. The cabin is quite spacious with all the fixtures and amenities we could ask for. We chose to cook most of our meals in the kitchen and found it fully stocked and in working order. The look of the cabin was just as the pictures show, quaint and a bit rustic but very nice and homey. We loved the carved bears and quote on the wall in the main living room. It was a great location with a small convenience store just down the street to pick up a few last minute items we forgot. And the walk down to the lake was quite fun and even took the opportunity to take the canoe out for a spin around they bay! (That was quite the highlight of the trip). It was a great experience and we definitely would want to rent out this cabin again. And thank you for providing such a beautiful and enjoyable place to spend the weekend!"Guest: Alexander F.
