  • AMAZING STAY-CATION!

"This home was such an amazing find for our weekend long Board retreat. We felt right at home from the moment we pulled thru the gates. (so did our dogs) Very few times (in my opinion) do places you find online to rent and stay at, live up to and even exceed my expectations. In the case of this home... it lived up to ALL of my expectations and even exceeded them on most levels. VERY clean, more than spacious, somewhat secluded, has all the modern amenities and then some, and the owners were a joy to work with leading up to and all throughout our stay whenever I had any questions. Let's just put it this way... if I had the money in my bank account today to write a check for this home - I'd do it in a heartbeat! Hopefully our meetings and travels will lead us to this spectacularly warm and beautiful home away from home again very soon."

  • So Nice!

"From the tree lined driveway to the beautiful sunrise and sunset this ranch was the slow down medicine any doctor would order. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend with our three adult children and their spouses. We had a fun time just sitting, relaxing, fishing in the pond, petting the horses, (our grandson loved it), and the ranch dogs were friendly and loved to lay in the shade of the beautiful tree in the front, as we had wine and cheese. It is very close to all shopping and not too far from all the beautiful wineries in the area, but the feel is very secluded. The house is open and inviting, two bedrooms and two full baths down stairs and on the other side is a pool table room with a full master suite upstairs! It was nice to watch the sunrise from the picture window up there. Will we stay here again? Absolutely!"

  • LUCKY US!

"Like you may be, I’m the one who’s usually spearheading the choice of location and property for our get-togethers. It’s not an easy job, is it?!? Hope this review helps you. I must admit that I initially undervalued the need for the home owner’s cooperativeness and attention as I searched for a property for our reunion. Boy, am I glad I came around! The owners of Plateau Edge are the most friendly and responsive of any home or property I’ve ever rented. Our group of around a dozen (11 this time) adults gets together for a “mini-HS reunion” every couple of years or so and I’m often involved with (or responsible for) selecting a location and home for our three day stay. We want a nice property with at least 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a large, well equipped kitchen. Here’s how we “found” everything: THE HOUSE: What a neat place! Plenty of room, interest, and privacy. Super clean and comfortable and exactly what we wanted to give that feel of livability. No pretentiousness, just perfection. SLEEPING: Plenty of beds, rooms, blankets, areas, etc, etc. Plenty of bathrooms too! This home could have accommodated twice as many (kids too) as we had. EATING: Chef Laura was outstanding! The kitchen and dining room were focal points of our fun. We were so well fed that we felt like we were on a cruise ship. Laura’s generosity was unforgettable. PLAY: Wow, more fun than we bargained for! The hot tubs, pool, decks, and the “barn!” Rain or shine, there’s plenty of room to play indoor or “outdoor” games. We used the barn for playing Bag Toss, Ladder toss, and ping pong. And the Santa Rosa Plateau was just down the street for great hikes! RELAXING: There were numerous areas to just relax. You could get off by yourself or lounge with others both indoors and out. Very comfy places! And the views? Awesome. Snow-capped mountains and green valleys and rolling hills were all around us. All in all, I feel lucky to have found this property. Seemed like everything was provided. Wish we’d stayed longer. We all loved it and would definitely come again! Great, great place to stay and play!"

  • Perfect weekend stay

"We have stayed at many places available through VRBO, the guest house in Murrieta is one of our favorites. The cottage was comfortable and had all the things we needed. We loved sitting on the back patio that was very private and relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed and had the tools for making a great breakfast. Very private and quiet. Kristina was so easy to work with and made the stay comfortable. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will be back."
