"We just spent our 5th year in this beautiful cabin. Everytime we arrive we are thrilled to be there. The extra touches Joan and Natalie give make you feel like a guest, not just a renter. The new addition of the ping pong table made for some additional fun and rivalry as we held our first annual ping pong tournament. There is a great sledding hill around the corner, you can walk to the Snow Summit, or hit downtown in a quick drive. You don't need to leave the house as there is entertainment galore. This place offers everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation place."

"I stayed at Paula's place for the weekend with my graduate school classmates as a retreat. There were 11 of us and the place was more than spacious enough! The living room was very cozy and the guitar hero in one of the upstairs rooms was a hit with the guys. We also had fun with the grill making s'mores on the deck!
The beach passes which gave us access to the beach were a lovely perk, the beach and park were great places to sit, chat and wander around, and were gorgeous during sunset, but when we were there, swimming was off-limits due to bacteria from a recent rain, which was a bit of a bummer.
Paula was also very friendly and super helpful in explaining to us how the beach passes worked and clarifying the lake water situation since we didn't know who to contact.
Overall we loved the place and it was very comfy for a group gathering of our size.
One minor improvement that could've been made though is having more deck chairs / tables. There's only a very rusted set of 4 chairs and a table missing the glass top, with a tiny wooden picnic table that's probably meant for kids.
Also a word of advice: come prepared! Unlike some other vacation rentals I've been at, there aren't a lot of amenities provided so it's good to bring your own towels, soap, coffee, sugar, tissue, trash liners, charcoal etc."

"The Royal Canadian Lodge is a TRUE home away from home. It has everything you can imagine for the perfect family reunion or weekend retreat. A spacious lodge that accommodates large groups, it is fully equipped with recreational gear, kitchen tools, towels, sheets. You name it! The views are spectacular and there are so many different area's of the house you can use to congregate and be together. The patios are stunning and the new outdoor picnic area is perfect for that outdoor lunch or suntan. You wont be disappointed with your stay!"

"My wife and I had an amazing time with our family. We had a few members of the family come from out of town and wanted to show them a peaceful and quiet side of Southern California. We could not have picked a better location. It felt like we pulled up to a palace. The view from the pool was breath-taking and the pool, itself, had pebbles across the bottom that were incredible. We spent time feeling like kids again on the trampoline and in the theater. We were blown away by how well the owners prepared the house. And they were so helpful with questions leading up to our weekend. I had never used a service like this before but they made it very easy. We love the Temecula/Murrieta area and I think we found our new favorite place to stay. A home away from home. Can't wait to come back."
