  • Great House! Great Time!

"We had such a nice trip with our family at this beautiful house. The rooms, the kitchen, living and dining area were very spacious with plenty of room to play board games and spend time with family. The house was very clean upon arrival with fresh linens and towels. Which may seem like nothing, but we've stayed in other homes that were dusty and linens were musty so the attention to detail was a big deal to us! The house truly feels like a home away from home and the owner was so pleasant and very easy to get a hold of. We hope to visit again soon!"

  • Couples getaway

"We had a great time in this cabin. It was clean and cozy with plenty of space for the four of us who stayed. We enjoyed the fireplace inside but was a little disappointed to find out that the out side fireplace wasn't working at the time but we enjoyed our wine under the stars just the same. It was a great weekend full of fun at the antique shops and in town. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you again for sharing your home with us."

  • A lovely place for a reunion

"This house is tucked away off the road and up a driveway. It has a great view of the ski runs on Bear Mountain. There is a porch that wraps around two sides of the house, with tables and chairs outside for those sunny, warmish afternoons in winter. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans and appliances for any cooking need. The living room is broken up into two areas, featuring nice couches, chairs and tables conducive to group chatting. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other two have queen sized beds with a bunk above. (I think kids would really like the upstairs bunk.) Since our group was also a bunch of Internet nerds, I can report this cabin has good wireless connectivity and bandwidth. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. The hot water in the upstairs bathroom was on almost immediately--no waiting around on a cold morning for a shower. The water pressure was really good. Highly recommended as a comfortable retreat!"

  • Stayed for two nights at Running Bear .

"It was not my first choice but since the one i liked was booked. Other rental offers better space and amemities with better price. Over all, it is okay. The place is relatively clean. Internet is good. The cons: It has three car garrage but there is a small boat trailer occupied parking space. Some of the TVs need to be replaced because of picture quality. The small bedroom to the right of laundry room has an odor of stagment air which can come from the mattress."
