Awesome for multiple families and in immaculate condition!
"We grabbed our kids on their last day of school and headed up the mountain to kick off summer with other school-friend families. We found this house to be in absolutely perfect condition - not a single thing in need of repair or replacement. The garage is empty (except for a scooter and a couple of bikes - very cool) so the kids turned it into a handball court - which was great because it kept the noise down there while the adults enjoyed time 2 floors up. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit and to eat. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils. Jacuzzi was clean and worked perfectly. Kids and adults both loved the ping pong/air hockey/pool table. The street is a very quiet cul-de-sac. Kids had a great time riding their scooters down the driveway and all over the end of the street. I think we saw just one car drive up the street the whole weekend we were there. The location is great - a 5 minute drive puts you in the Village, a 90 second drive puts you at 2 grocery stores. The home security system made it really easy for any of us to get in - we didn't have to worry about "who has the keys?" because we had a code for the keypad. Big thanks to the owner and staff for taking such pride in this property and kudos to Corinne, at the office, for being so helpful and accessible when we needed to reach her the first day. We'll definitely be looking for a chance to get back to this house. I think this just became our "first annual" summer kickoff trip."

"We were very happy with the services and for the trip. We passed some great moments there. Truly, this was one of the closest homes to Snow Summit ski resort. I loved that it was on a small culdesac.
The check in was easy and we were pleasantly surprised with how clean everything was once we arrived. We were able to let our kids play out front without worrying about a busy street. The single level plan was extremely spacious. The kids loved the game room too much. Even we loved the gorgeous master suite and bathroom, they're awesome.
Very glad to find this place. The lake was only about a mile way from the place. The house was very easy to get to once we were in Big Bear. There were no steep roads or driveways like we have had to deal with in previous cabin rentals. It was a fabulous experience and we will highly recommend this place."

Truly equipped with everything you need for a beautiful getaway!
"I decided to surprise my girlfriend with a lakefront cabin for her birthday and this cabin was absolutely perfect. With a total of 11 close friends and family for the weekend, the size of the cabin was perfect. One of the main reasons I chose this cabin over other available cabins within the same price range was that we were able to watch the sunset from the deck and dock located behind the cabin...just something to think about when you are looking at cabins with back patios and decks that face east or west. In addition, there were just so many areas to lounge in around the property! There is a fire pit in the front patio with patio furniture, wooden rocking chairs, and a propane grill...there is a downstairs pool room with a couch and chairs...an upper patio deck with patio furniture overlooking the lake, a lower patio area with a swinging bench, a horseshoe (game) area below the patio, a lounge area with sand below the horseshoe area, and then a lower deck with lounge chairs that leads to the boat dock. Even in the lower deck area there is more patio furniture and another grill.
Another feature of this cabin that we loved was the kitchen. My girlfriend and I have stayed in many cabins in different areas and were so impressed with how well equipped this cabin was! Even though many cabins are described as "fully stocked" or "everything you need for cooking", we've found a number of them to be quite sparse. We've been in many situations where cooking utensils and pots/pans are limited and pantries are left with little to none (or expired) cooking supplies/condiments. This cabin's kitchen had everything we needed to assist us in cooking all of our meals for the weekend. We literally kept saying "Wow" when we opened the pantry and the drawers.
As for the bedrooms, all of the bedrooms include linens/blankets/pillows and fit all 11 of us nicely. The showers were great too! The downstairs master bedroom has a newer, tiled walk in shower with 3 shower heads (tall/medium/short) with great water pressure. The upstairs guest shower has a ceiling mounted rainfall type shower head...those are the only two I tried so I can't comment on the upstairs master bedroom shower (I'm sure it was just as nice though).
If I had more room to type I would, but to sum it all up, the owner (Doug) was so easy to work with and made the rental experience such a breeze...we really enjoyed our stay and are definitely planning on staying again next year!"

"My husband and I, our daughter, and our son/daughter-in law and infant grandson spent the weekend here and loved every minute. The lodge was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked will all appliances working. There were plenty of clear, easy instructions on how to enter, how to operate appliances and gadgets and where to find items. This was our yearly family vacation so we weren't into the TV or movies, but loved the variety of board games. The view from the deck was great. A notebook with detailed info on the place, the town and the Lake helped us plan and organize our days. With bedrooms downstairs, kids or seniors have to be able to do the stairs. It was a perfect location for just relaxing, with just a short drive to the lake or any other excursion. The owner was gracious and helpful. I would definitely return."
