  • Incredible Stay in the Cottage and a New Friendship

"My husband and I started our CA vacation in San Diego and made our way to the beautiful Temecula wine country. It was the highlight of our trip and mostly because the "cottage" and the owners are the in town! It is very nicely appointed with very current furnishings, a fireplace, beautiful grounds, a comfortable bed with crisp and fresh linens. In every corner of the cottage, it's apparent that Steve and Sandi put an incredible amount of time and energy into hosting their guests. They are totally respectful of your privacy, while at the same time, they make you feel right at home. "Tux", their beautiful dog greeted us every morning and showed us the way to the horses...right next door where you can take a private ride through the vineyard and see the beautiful sights of the valley. It will take your breath away. Look no further...this will be the best decision you'll make while planning your getaway. It's very romantic too!"

"Our family have spent the last couple of years traveling to a warm destination to break up the winter months. We are 11 in total so look for a home that is roomy enough to accommodate my husband, myself, our 4 sons and their families comfortably and affordably. We look for locations that have a lot to do in close proximity. We found this at the Temecula Wine Country Estate #1. We were VERY pleased – it had everything we were looking for!! The description of the home on the website was very accurate. The bedrooms are very roomy with very comfortable beds in the room as well as playpens and inflatable mattresses to easily accomodate everyone. We have two 3 year olds and a 2 year old in our group and had no problems accommodating their varied nap times as the home is quite sound proof room to room. The large kitchen/family room had something for everyone- and we had access to it all. The kitchen is fully stocked with any thing you could possibly need to prepare a family meal – so nice not to have to go out to eat with such a large group. The outdoor area has spectacular views, is a huge area that is private and again had something for everyone. We barbecued, picked fresh oranges, swam, sat in the hot tub and even sat out at night in front of the fireplace watching a movie on the outdoor television. There is a very secure child-proof fence around the pool and hot tub so the kids could go out and play safely. As a runner I am looking for a safe place to run- it was right outside the gate of the estate. There is a great playground within walking distance. We did a couple of day trips to San Diego – easy to access the interstate highway and get to where we needed to be; Temecula has everything we could possibly need locally for stores. As well as numerous wineries close by - 7 minutes away at the South Coast Winery there is a wonderful spa. Our hosts couldn’t have been better to us – meeting us the minute we arrived and being accessible by phone with any of our needs both before arriving and during our stay. We really felt like we were at home and will DEFINITELY recommend this place to others!"

  • GREAT GETAWAY FOR MOMS TO RELAX

"We are cousins and moms of multiple children with special needs who were desperately in need of some R&R. We wanted someplace close, yet rustic and seemingly "cabin-y." This fit the bill...super clean, quiet, well-stocked and close to shopping, wineries, etc. To be able to sneak away, not too far, and talk, eat, rest, and relax was a tremendous gift and this was just the place to spend it."

  • Ladies vacation

"We arrived in Fallbrook for a vacation with 8 ladies, we had planned for more but some had to cancel. This home was perfect for us and would easily sleep more. There are several sitting areas both inside and out. We enjoyed the beautiful patio area upstairs especially with beautiful views and it was perfect for star gazing. The large kitchen with serving bar across from stove top was nice for cooking and serving. Plenty of dishes and utensils for a crowd. This home has such a good location. We had day trips to San Diego, Carlsbad, San Luis Rey Mission, Temecula wine country, and Palm Springs Tramway. Owner, Michelle even told us about Fallbrook events happening while we were there, we appreciated the obvious care taken to make sure guests are comfortable. We Unanimously agree we would love to return."
