High Altitude Vacation
Although it is only 90 minutes from coastal Los Angeles, Wrightwood sits in the mountains at about 6,000 feet above sea level. This means that you will be above the level of most other California vacation sites; it also means that you can breathe freely and clearly. Wrightwood is close enough that you can fly to Los Angeles, rent a car, and drive to your Wrightwood lodging, while letting you live above everyone else, so you don't have to breathe the Los Angeles pollution.
