  • The perfect mountain retreat

"My one night at Lily Rock Lodge was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and architecturally interesting. The tasteful decor has just the right touch of whimsy. Simply said, this was my type of "roughing it" - which isn't roughing it at all. It was perfect!"

  • very cute cabin

"We loved our days there! the cabin is very cute! we were with 2 little kids and they have a wonderfull time too! it was nice to see the squirrels in the trees, and it was snowing so we enjoy the fireplace! the big bed is the most comfortable bed I ever sleep on!!!! the sheets are so soft, its like a soft hug!!!! the only things that make my scorage not excellent were: the phone was not working, and there were very few toillet paper and matches, so we need to run to buy those important things! Idyllwild is beautifull, I want to come back again and stay for more days!!!"

  • SO MUCH FUN!

"My husband and I stayed in this home with our 2 young adult children and their significant others for 4 nights in July and had so much fun together, we hated to leave! It was a very comfortable place to stay....very homey! It was very clean and roomy and had everything we needed to cook meals except the groceries (there were many condiments, spices, etc.) The deck was a wonderful place to lounge and drink our morning coffee. The neighborhood was peaceful and we enjoyed the songs of the different birds. We took walks around the lake each morning using the ALA private trail and hung out at Tavern Bay Beach Club in the afternoons and used their lounge chairs. The downstairs game room was a hugh hit! We all stayed up late each night to shoot pool, darts, and listen to music. The bar was fantastic, right out of a club, and came well equipped with bar glasses. My husband loves to play bartender and he had a blast. Thank you so much for a wonderful get away!"

Inland Empire Travel Tips

Inland Empire Vacation Rentals for a Great Trip

Inland Empire in California is a beautiful area located to the north of San Diego County and just west of Palm Springs. Surrounded by hills and mountain ranges with a few natural passes, the area measures around 60 miles from north to south and 50 miles from east to west. It is one of the few places where you are less than an hour’s drive from both the beach and the ski resorts. The impressive peaks around the Inland Empire area reach over 10,000 feet, making it a great area for outdoor activities throughout the year. Keep an eye open for the wild donkeys too!

The Major Advantages of Inland Empire Vacation Rentals

Choosing a vacation rental home that is right for you and your family is one of the most important parts of your vacation. Look for a rental vacation home that is in the right location to cut down on unnecessary driving and close to all the amenities that your family may be looking for. If you plan on dining out, local towns nearby with a choice of restaurants are important. For those planning to cook their own meals, a supermarket may be more essential. Choose a rental home which has sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone their own space, preferably without using the pull-out sofa in the living area. Finally, look for an Inland Empire vacation home that has the amenities you require. A hot tub, game room, children’s play area or even kayaks and bicycles may all provided with some vacation homes, making them excellent values.

Things to do From Your Inland Empire Lodging
