  • This home made for an excellent family getaway

"Our family of four plus three others stayed in this home for a weekend in order to attend a wedding. This was a special wedding to all of us. My husband officiated the wedding, my daughter was a bridesmaide and my son who has a photo booth business worked it as well. The home is everything that is listed on the VRBO site. We've used this site several times and were more impressed with not only the home but the homeowners. As others stated in reviews they were very accommodating. We had a couple questions and called twice with immediate response and everything ran smoothly. The house was clean, the linens were clean, the beds were comfortable and we loved the location. We spent time out on the deck and inside. Something you don't normally think about is the lighting. We had a couple of the girls get their hair and make up done at the home and the lighting was perfect. We visited a few friends who stayed at other places and seriously nothing compared to this home. It was very comfortable and provided everything we needed to make for a perfect weekend. If you're looking to spend some time in Big Bear I would highly recommend this home. You cannot beat it and expecially for the price. It was very accessable and easy to get to from the street. If we go back to Big Bear we will definitley want to rent this home again, in fact we may just make a trip back because we had such a nice time."

  • No snow, but we had a great time!

"This house was great! It's wonderful for every room to have it's own bathroom & the place was so spacious - lots of room to spread out. It was very close to both Bear Mtn & Snow Summit & Nancy was very helpful in answering all the questions we had. The only surprise we had was that the master has a big jacuzzi tub - no shower - but there are 3 others so we worked it out! We had an amazing brunch at Stillwells & a fantastic dinner at the Himalayan (not a place I would have thought of, but it's rated #1). All in all, great place & time!"

  • AWESOME RELAXING RETREAT!

"We were so pleasantly surprised to find such a treasure with this cabin! It has absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need to stay... No matter what the season! We were comfortable with plenty of space and amenities. Felt very safe and secure too (us city folk think like that). And Julie responds to you just like a friend! We will visit again... And again!"

  • Fabulous Emerald Bay vacation

"My wife and I had an awesome time staying at the cabin and spending quality time relaxing and soaking up the sun out on the very large deck. It's definitely as advertised, clean, pretty well stocked kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and the place just had a really great feel to excape for a few days. It was nice to look out of the many windows and see trees all around with the great lake view. Our dog had a blast hanging out on the enclosed deck and walking in the woods. Lots of nature trails around and endless outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Marci, the owner is super nice and really responsive and a joy to work with... The cabin is well stocked with firewood and the fire kept us plenty warm and heated the living room so nicely. There was also central heating to 3 separate areas so the place is plenty warm on cold nights if needed, I can't say enough about how great this place is...I would definitely go back and stay again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to get away to."

Inland Empire Travel Tips

Inland Empire Vacation Rentals for a Great Trip

Inland Empire in California is a beautiful area located to the north of San Diego County and just west of Palm Springs. Surrounded by hills and mountain ranges with a few natural passes, the area measures around 60 miles from north to south and 50 miles from east to west. It is one of the few places where you are less than an hour’s drive from both the beach and the ski resorts. The impressive peaks around the Inland Empire area reach over 10,000 feet, making it a great area for outdoor activities throughout the year. Keep an eye open for the wild donkeys too!

The Major Advantages of Inland Empire Vacation Rentals

Choosing a vacation rental home that is right for you and your family is one of the most important parts of your vacation. Look for a rental vacation home that is in the right location to cut down on unnecessary driving and close to all the amenities that your family may be looking for. If you plan on dining out, local towns nearby with a choice of restaurants are important. For those planning to cook their own meals, a supermarket may be more essential. Choose a rental home which has sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone their own space, preferably without using the pull-out sofa in the living area. Finally, look for an Inland Empire vacation home that has the amenities you require. A hot tub, game room, children’s play area or even kayaks and bicycles may all provided with some vacation homes, making them excellent values.
