  • Great weekend trip!

"We had a wonderful stay here last weekend! Everything was perfect and the location could not have been better. My boys LOVED the toys and were devastated when we had to leave them behind. It definitely made the trip more enjoyable. We hope to come back again soon."

  • Perfect for the Family

"Thank you so much for giving our family an unforgettable weekend. The Dancing Bear Cabin topped our expectations. The house was extremely spacious, beautiful and clean with breathtaking views from the deck. Can't imagine how gorgeous this cabin looks in the winter with snow all around. Even though we took our trip in the fall, it was definitely worth the trip! The highlight of the home itself would have to be the kitchen. It was perfectly centered in the main living area. Thank you once again and I will be highly recommending your cabins to others!! Sincerely, The Zuniga's & The Salcido's"

  • Incredible Forest feel with Lakeview!

"Our family of four and friends had an fantastic time at the Waterview Lodge! Steve helped make the experience very easy, and was patient with us as it took awhile for our plans to come together. We had a great mix of activities (mountain biking, bowling, boating, and minature golf too!) There was plenty of time for relaxing in this beautiful home and the setting/location was perfect! There are plenty of trees and seclusion with relaxing views of the lake from the house. We were amazed at all of the special details and mountain decor, which makes it really feel like a vacation, a home away from home indeed! We have stayed in many places over the years here in Big Bear, and are so happy to have found the Waterview Lodge! The home had everything we needed, we barely went out to eat, plenty of room to gather and relax together ~ Very comfortable for sure! Thank you Steve for sharing your home with us! We look forward to many returns!"

Inland Empire Travel Tips

Inland Empire Vacation Rentals for a Great Trip

Inland Empire in California is a beautiful area located to the north of San Diego County and just west of Palm Springs. Surrounded by hills and mountain ranges with a few natural passes, the area measures around 60 miles from north to south and 50 miles from east to west. It is one of the few places where you are less than an hour’s drive from both the beach and the ski resorts. The impressive peaks around the Inland Empire area reach over 10,000 feet, making it a great area for outdoor activities throughout the year. Keep an eye open for the wild donkeys too!

The Major Advantages of Inland Empire Vacation Rentals

Choosing a vacation rental home that is right for you and your family is one of the most important parts of your vacation. Look for a rental vacation home that is in the right location to cut down on unnecessary driving and close to all the amenities that your family may be looking for. If you plan on dining out, local towns nearby with a choice of restaurants are important. For those planning to cook their own meals, a supermarket may be more essential. Choose a rental home which has sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone their own space, preferably without using the pull-out sofa in the living area. Finally, look for an Inland Empire vacation home that has the amenities you require. A hot tub, game room, children’s play area or even kayaks and bicycles may all provided with some vacation homes, making them excellent values.
