  • Great Get Away

"My wife, family and very close friends spent a weekend at the cabin. We found the cabin to be comfortable, clean and enjoyed our stay. The kids especially liked the game room, and Play Station. It happen to be raining the second day so staying inside gave the kids something to do. The cabin being so close to the lake was a plus for us. The kids enjoyed the fishing. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Another Excellent Stay

"This is the second time I have taken my HS cross country team to this house for preseason training. The kids had plenty of space and enjoyed shooting pool and hanging around the house. (when they were not running)"

  • excellent stay, great location!

"we stayed at this great condo which was 5 min from the lake. it was exceptionally clean, well maintained and was in a quiet complex near Stater Brothers supermarket. Because the lake is private and the boats are privately owned, you should get a beach pass to access the lake, which we forgot to do. Otherwise, this place beats staying at the hotel."

  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"My family and I spent Thanksgiving at The Corner Lodge. This place is so charming and homey. It truly made our holiday wonderful. The layout of the house is very comfortable and well-arranged. Whether sitting around the cozy fire place, chatting in the dining room, or playing pool downstairs, everyone always had a place to sit and enjoy each other’s company. Having 3 and 1/2 bathrooms was very convenient. We have a big family, so it was nice not having to take turns or wait in line for the shower. There were plenty of soft towels and hot water. The kitchen was perfect for our large group and had everything we needed. Even with 8 adults cruising in and out of it cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner, we still had plenty of counter space and we were never tripping over each other. All the bedrooms had beautiful views and were very comfortable. The curtains kept the rooms nice and dark for the days we slept in. My nephew absolutely loved the play area. It was so nice having a big, enclosed yard for him to run around in safely. It was like having your own private park complete with cute, chubby squirrels and blue jays. Another nice thing was that it was very close to the shops and downtown area. Whether you want to stay in, go out or just walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the fresh air, it really had everything a person could want for a nice, relaxing vacation. Denney, the owner, was also very nice to work with. She was always very courteous and helpful. She made the whole process very secure and easy. The Corner Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. As their slogan says, it really does feel like your “home away from home”. I’ll never forget all the wonderful memories it provided for me and my family. I would definitely stay here again."
