  • Great Old Tahoe House!

"Came up here with some girlfriends. We had some bad weather, but the house was perfect for us! Descriptions really don't give a clear picture of these places: There are four bedrooms, two upstairs and two down on ground level. The upstairs bedrooms are smallish but comfortable; the upstairs bathroom connects to one of the bedrooms, which means that to get to it you might have to disturb the people in the bedroom. Downstairs, one large bedroom is perfect for kids, with a bunk and a couple of twin beds, plus a couch. The other bedroom is small and, unlike the other bedrooms, doesn't have either a closet or a dresser. Clothes need to be hung on hooks or kept in the suitcase. The downstairs bathroom is entered from the hall, so is available to both bedrooms. The kitchen/living room, upstairs, is large and well furnished (except for a toaster which needs replacing) and is surrounded by decks which have lots of outdoor furniture. There are TVs in three of the bedrooms and the living room; the WiFi wasn't working for us but that was probably something we didn't do right. There is a GREAT hot tub on a bottom deck, outside the small downstairs bedroom. The beds are VERY comfortable, the towels are full and fluffy and plentiful, and there is a brand new Ping Pong table in the laundry room! Altogether a very comfortable and pleasant house! Finally, the location, between King's Beach and Carnelian Bay, is close to many good restaurants, beaches, shops, and miniature golf, a free, dog-friendly beach, paddle board and kayak rentals, and a quick drive to Incline Village and Tahoe City, and not far from Squaw and Northstar. This is a good place for a group of friends or a large family!"

  • Great family house!

"This house was perfect for 9 of us including 4 kids. Having all of the bedrooms together was great and allowed the adults to hang out after the kids went to bed with no fear of waking anyone. The rooms aren't huge but we were able to squeeze portable cribs into both of the twin rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed sitting at the counter as well as the large dining room table (sat 9 people easily with the extensions) There is plenty of seating in the great room and the kids loved having toys there. The yard was a perfect spot for the kids to play in the snow and we enjoyed the trails and neighborhood around the house. The internet also worked really well which is always a bonus in Tahoe! It's always hard to tell how child-friendly a house is online but this worked well and we would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Awesome New Years Get Away

"Wonderful cabin. Had a great time with with old friends from high school celebrating the New Year. Easy drive to Northstar & Squaw/Alpine for skiing/snowboarding. Many restaurants within close proximity. The cabin was clean & spacious. The dog loved laying next to the fire with her bone. Plenty of beds up in the loft. Enough kitchen space to cook dinner for 8 people. Loved the grill (although the grill lighter wasn't working so we had to buy some matched). Jacuzzi was a must with temperatures in the low teens & after a long day on the slopes. Very relaxing & fun weekend in Lake Tahoe. Looking forward to renting this cabin again in the future."

  • Comfortable, good location

"The living room was super comfy, the large dining room table was great for a large gathering, and the kitchen well stocked (except we had to go buy salt). The downstairs bedrooms (main floor) are perfect for little kids. IF you don't mind road noise, the location is perfect- close to the store and equidistant from the ski resorts."
