  • Family fun!

"This cabin was perfect for us!!! There was plenty of room for the 5 adults and 3 children. The house was clean, well maintained and stocked, and close to everything, but felt like we were in the country. The cabin felt like a cheerful second home!"

  • Total Family Fun!

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The beach access was a fun way to spend time catching crawdads and feeding ducks and geese with the grandkids. The location was close to the store, the sandy beach and hiking trails. We all had enough room and the cabin had all we needed for our stay. We had a nice fun and relaxing time."

  • Wonderful!

"Great view, location. Just wanted to sit and watch the lake. House and great separation of space for sleeping. Comfortable living room. Everything we needed. And the dogs loved it, too!"

"Wonderful location, backs up to open space, there is a hiking/biking trail right next to the property. It is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood where Flapjack, the resident Bassett Hound will greet you upon arrival and come back to visit daily. Unfortunately this home has no sound proofing. The master suite (complete with steam shower) is downstairs and every footstep made from the 2 bedrooms above can be heard by unmistakable creaking. Also, between the walls of the two bedroom upstairs, every conversation could be heard."

Agate Bay Travel Tips

A Perfect World: Indoors and Out at Agate Bay Lodging

Those spending their vacation in Agate Bay lodging are truly in for a treat. Not only are their wonderful outdoor activities to participate in year round—such as snowmobiling and skiing in the winter and biking and swimming in the summer—but there are also many indoor activities to keep the vacationers happy. One of the best indoor activities to take part in is the enjoyment of gourmet food. Vacationers staying in Agate Bay cabins have the option to cook their own sumptuous meals or enjoy the creations made by expert chefs at the many wonderful restaurants in the northern Lake Tahoe region.

Bring the Whole Family, Even the Furry Members

A unique aspect of Agate Bay lodging is that many of the houses and cabins available for rent are pet friendly. This is a fantastic amenity for those people who prefer to bring their furry friends with them wherever they go. Look around to find information on all of the Agate Bay cabins that welcome four legged friends.

A Great Place for Kids

Lake Tahoe vacation rentals are great for kids. They can run outside, enjoy outdoor sports, play games, and, in general, just be kids. One of the best things about Agate Bay cabins is that lodgers with children don't have to worry about waking up the neighbors in the next hotel room over. Let them get up and start enjoying the day at the crack of dawn. Let them sing their favorite songs and do cartwheels around the cabin. Simply said, by spending your vacation in Agate Bay lodging, your kids can be themselves and enjoy themselves just as much as you can. Not to mention the fact that the cabins come equipped with laundry services for all of those muddy socks and grass-stained shorts.
