  • Waterfall on Rock Fireplace

"This place is stunning. The main level is a large open design, perfect for hanging out with a large group. Big stone fireplace, with a freaking water fall coming off it, no joke, a waterfall in the middle of the living room. There were 10 of us and we all slept comfortably. Well appointed kitchen, good sound system, this place has it all. Oh yeah, and the owners are very responsive to communication! If there was a 6th star, this place would get it!"

  • Comfortable home, plenty of space!

"We vacationed at this property with a wide age range of family and friends, including a toddler, teenagers, young couples, and grandmas. There was plenty of space for everyone! Although not depicted in the photos or description, this property had enough room for dining together... a large dinning table for 8, a breakfast nook for 4, and seats at the kitchen counter. Almost any item we could need was available in the kitchen except for chef's knives. There were also many towels on hand for showering and hut tub use. The backyard was small but very enjoyable, particularly the hot tub. Although there are trails behind the property, it takes some climbing through brush and fallen trees for a few yards before you can see or reach them. The property is extremely close to rafting on the Truckee River (though no rafting while we were in town due to drought.) Horseback riding also very close by. Some caveats: internet and cell phone reception are VERY poor and unreliable. Also, families with toddlers beware: standard tension baby gates do not seem to snugly fit the stairway entrance."

  • Wonderfully cozy, yet spacious home

"Just wanted to take a moment to thank the owners for the opportunity to rent this house! It was truly wonderful! We could not have wished for a better place to stay. The house is amazing and they did a great job making sure that it is cozy yet stocked with everything and anything one might need during a getaway. A couple of highlights: THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WHEN PICTURES TRULY REPRESENT THE SIZE AND AMENITIES OF THE HOUSE. The all-around sitting in the living room is a treat. Closet stocked with games for adults, kids and even pets is a gem. Instructions are super clear, getting there and around the area is easy even in winter. Thank you for making the process so easy too and for always being available. Happy New Year to you and your family!"

  • You will return!

"Our third stay now. This is a well equipped, comfortable and warm Condo. Nicely situated by Alpine, it is a gentle 15 minute walk, or a couple of minutes by car to the lifts. We have stayed only in the winter but can see there are numerous biking and walking trails close by. Recommended, and hope to return."
