  • We Loved everything about this home!

"This home was perfect for our family vacation. The home was beautiful, the view was beautiful. We could not have asked for anything more. The home was even more spacious than expected from the photos. We had our three sons, one daughter in law and one girlfriend. Everyone had their own personal space, and yet the common areas were large enough and very comfortable for the 7 of us to gather and play games, watch movies, read and relax. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck/pier. Great way to start the day. Great view of the Lake from every room. Loved preparing meals in the kitchen with the Lake just outside the window. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate many cooks and helpers at one time. We brought in CB's Pizza one night. (less than a mile away) Very good pizza. We ate one night at Christy Hills in Tahoe City. Great! We ate in the house most nights because we hated to leave our own personal lakeside view!! There was also a large game/puzzle table not shown in the photos. We had a 1000 piece puzzle going all week, so nice to have a spot where we could leave it out and not have it be in the way. We would love to return to this home, and would highly recommend it to others."

  • Perfect for our active family

"This home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the house had something for everyone. We used the badminton, spa, plenty of board games, books, and even 2 toy bins to entertain our local friends 3 &5 year olds who stopped by one night. The bedrooms were roomy and spaced far enough for privacy for two families. We didn't expect two living rooms as the photos show one. Our dog loved the yard, plenty of room to run around."

  • I'll be back!

"This place is wonderful. It is cozy, warm and exudes Tahoe charm. We had 3 generations staying at Tahoe Joy and there was room for all of us. Plenty of room in the common areas and plenty of sleeping space for all. It is great for families and has a large dining room table, comfortable and spacious living room and best of all the deck with the lovely lake view. The lake is a short walk away and the location in my mind is perfect as it is situated between Tahoe City and Kings Beach and with plenty of forest hiking on the other side of North Lake Blvd. (The location is also great for winter skiing FYI.) On a different note, it is a very well stocked kitchen so you do have all the utensils you will need and it is very clean throughout. Tahoe Joy is also great for those with furry friends-lots of good dog walking. I lived 2 wonderful years at Tahoe and I have finally found my place to stay that is like coming home. This is the real Tahoe!"

  • Awesome Views and comforts!

"Our extended family was looking for a vacation house that would please all of us - about 10 adults and 5 kids. We found it!! In fact we hope to return soon! Most stunning views of Lake Tahoe, amazing hot tub, clean and large bedrooms and big open great room. The house had everything we needed and the owners were great answering all our questions! We highly highly recommend it! You will have a blast!"
