  • Perfect Tahoe retreat - ideal for accessing the mountains

"My partner and I, along with another couple, stayed at the apartment over the Christmas holiday. We were there principally to snowboard at Squaw and Alpine but also had a few days at Northstar too. Carnelian Bay is approximately 20 minutes from all three mountains by car, which is pretty handy! Tahoe City is ten minutes drive away, is a nice small town, and contains everything you may need while on a self-catering vacation, as well as some decent pubs and places to eat. The apartment itself is great! Before we even arrived I was sent a detailed information pack on the place. It's situated in a very quiet piece of woodland set back a little from, but with views of, Lake Tahoe. Upon arrival the place was very well presented and nice and warm. We instantly felt cozy and at home. A quick tour around revealed a really well stocked apartment with plenty of towels, bedding, toilet rolls, etc, as well as something important to myself - a well equipped kitchen. There was everything needed to cook most nights, including a slap-up Christmas dinner! Other things worth noting are the log fire, decent TV, comfy bed and sofa (bed), free WIFI and washer/dryer. Guests can also enjoy the club house, which houses outdoor hot tubs (perfect after a days skiing/snowboarding!), sauna and a pool table. This is situated five minutes walk down the hill. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and I would definitely go back myself, summer or winter. Many thanks, Nick (UK)"

  • Great beds

"The beds were really comfortable and it was a very short walk over to the lake. It's also a great location right between Kings Beach and Tahoe City."

  • Perfect little convenient place

"We found this little place great for heading out for adventures during the day, dining at nearby lakefront restaurants and then spending the evenings relaxing with our dog. Breakfast at home was a great way to start each day. Liked the off street parking and room to safely store kayaks, bikes, etc. Local streets were nice for walking the dog. Park/paths across the street had great views and is pet friendly. We will be back."

  • Perfect for our active family

"This home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the house had something for everyone. We used the badminton, spa, plenty of board games, books, and even 2 toy bins to entertain our local friends 3 &5 year olds who stopped by one night. The bedrooms were roomy and spaced far enough for privacy for two families. We didn't expect two living rooms as the photos show one. Our dog loved the yard, plenty of room to run around."
