  • Great house, comfortable for 2 families

"We had a great stay at the house. We were 2 families with 5 kids so appreciated all the open space. The living room and bedrooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed the use of the hot tub every evening. The house was central to everything we did while up in Tahoe. The owners were lovely to deal with, even accommodating a late check out. Would highly recommend to families."

  • Great ending to our Winter Break

"We had a great experience at the Lynnwood Chalet. We were drawn to the property for the snow run in the back yard, and it did not disappoint. The house was very clean, which was a huge plus for us. Our children enjoyed the game room, and my husband and I enjoyed the calm and serene surroundings. We ate at the Gar restaraunt our first night there, and they has the BEST burger and crab cakes. We ate in the rest of our stay and found the Lynnwood Chalet Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking gear for each meal. I was also impressed with the level of thoughtfulness given by the owners for their guests. They had eatery information posted along with emergency contacts such as local hospitals. Cabinets were labeled and little amenities were found in the kitchen and bathrooms. Personal notes were left in albums which provided a rich history if the property's journey. We also enjoyed reading about Tahoe's history as provided. We are thankful for such a wonderful family experience. We would recommend this property to future families. We hope to return next Winter. • Our "go-to" stay at Lake Tahoe!

"My family and our friends had another great time at the cabin this past January. When we weren't out and about the North Shore -- the cabin located between King's Beach and Tahoe City and easily accessed -- we were content to hunker down and enjoy the comforts of the indoor and outdoor living spaces and fully-equipped kitchen. The cabin is refreshingly simple and "unfussy," perfect for families with little ones during any season of the year. My extended family has been coming to the cabin for many years now, and returning to it feels like visiting an old friend. Thanks for the memories! We will be coming back for as long as we can!"

  • A great couple days with our family!

"Linda was great, and the property was just as described. We really enjoyed the "cabin" feel of the house. The towels and the sheets were awesome! The second night there, we roasted s'mores in the outdoor fire pit. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and everything was very clean. Like I said, Linda was great and very helpful. We went to Tahoe Environmental Sciences center in Incline Village and had an awesome tour. Thanks so much!"
