  • Perfect Tahoe retreat - ideal for accessing the mountains

"My partner and I, along with another couple, stayed at the apartment over the Christmas holiday. We were there principally to snowboard at Squaw and Alpine but also had a few days at Northstar too. Carnelian Bay is approximately 20 minutes from all three mountains by car, which is pretty handy! Tahoe City is ten minutes drive away, is a nice small town, and contains everything you may need while on a self-catering vacation, as well as some decent pubs and places to eat. The apartment itself is great! Before we even arrived I was sent a detailed information pack on the place. It's situated in a very quiet piece of woodland set back a little from, but with views of, Lake Tahoe. Upon arrival the place was very well presented and nice and warm. We instantly felt cozy and at home. A quick tour around revealed a really well stocked apartment with plenty of towels, bedding, toilet rolls, etc, as well as something important to myself - a well equipped kitchen. There was everything needed to cook most nights, including a slap-up Christmas dinner! Other things worth noting are the log fire, decent TV, comfy bed and sofa (bed), free WIFI and washer/dryer. Guests can also enjoy the club house, which houses outdoor hot tubs (perfect after a days skiing/snowboarding!), sauna and a pool table. This is situated five minutes walk down the hill. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and I would definitely go back myself, summer or winter. Many thanks, Nick (UK)"

  • Everything we needed

"The house was beautiful- clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the large kitchen- it was well stocked with every appliance we needed. Our boys really enjoyed playing foosball and pingpong. We all enjoyed the large hot tub. It was also really convenient having a large fenced back yard for the dogs- one minor item to note is there is no entry to the yard from the back of the house. The property mgmt company was very helpful and accommodated our early check-in and last minute reservation. Overall we really loved this house and hope to come back."

  • Relaxing Lake view house

"We stayed at this beautiful and comfortable house over the Thanksgiving holiday week. It also was my mom's 75th birthday :o) Our whole family was there. We had 2 days of sunshine and 2 days of snow. We couldn't ask for anything better. We had fires every night, stayed in our sweats, lots of drinks and ate tons of food...LOL... The hot tub was so very relaxing and we even went out in it when it was snowing. The boys in our family brought there Rhino's (4 wheelers) and drove over to the Rubicon and went riding for the day. Thank you Marilyn it was wonderful!! Hope to use it in the summer too."
