"Came up here with some girlfriends. We had some bad weather, but the house was perfect for us! Descriptions really don't give a clear picture of these places: There are four bedrooms, two upstairs and two down on ground level. The upstairs bedrooms are smallish but comfortable; the upstairs bathroom connects to one of the bedrooms, which means that to get to it you might have to disturb the people in the bedroom. Downstairs, one large bedroom is perfect for kids, with a bunk and a couple of twin beds, plus a couch. The other bedroom is small and, unlike the other bedrooms, doesn't have either a closet or a dresser. Clothes need to be hung on hooks or kept in the suitcase. The downstairs bathroom is entered from the hall, so is available to both bedrooms.
The kitchen/living room, upstairs, is large and well furnished (except for a toaster which needs replacing) and is surrounded by decks which have lots of outdoor furniture. There are TVs in three of the bedrooms and the living room; the WiFi wasn't working for us but that was probably something we didn't do right. There is a GREAT hot tub on a bottom deck, outside the small downstairs bedroom. The beds are VERY comfortable, the towels are full and fluffy and plentiful, and there is a brand new Ping Pong table in the laundry room! Altogether a very comfortable and pleasant house! Finally, the location, between King's Beach and Carnelian Bay, is close to many good restaurants, beaches, shops, and miniature golf, a free, dog-friendly beach, paddle board and kayak rentals, and a quick drive to Incline Village and Tahoe City, and not far from Squaw and Northstar. This is a good place for a group of friends or a large family!"
