"Wonderful quiet spot with in an alpine forest setting, easy walk down to a truly fantastic, very large pool (the water was the best temperature possible), two hot tubs, boccie ball court, tennis court. I feel a little guilty we stayed so close to the condo but the kids were having such a great time!
Solid, classic Lake Tahoe retreat.
Old school 80's or 90's art? Check.
Classic sculptured shag carpet, including carpeted stairs? Yep!
Newer Lazy Boy with a broken foot rest/side lever? Yep, but come on... that literally screams Lake Tahoe Old School. It seriously made me smile and I was rather happy about it.
Great BBQ on a small deck, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of linens and extra pillows (sorry for the pillow fort building rearrangement of the pillow distribution).
Would totally stay again."

"The Jones were wonderful and I'm so thankful they allowed us to stay at their beautiful cabin. The cabin was amazing. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood with breathtaking views. The cabin had the perfect amount of space for sleeping 10. The cabin had all the amenities you could need. Loved cooking for everyone because the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group."

"After looking and looking for a rental house suitable for 2 families for a Tahoe summer getaway, I stumbled on Woodchuck at Muletail. So glad for the fortunate circumstance.
The house was clean, organized, with a lot of upgraded amenities from many other cabins at Tahoe that are left outdated. The bunk bed room is quite small with bunks and another single bed in it, but perfect for younger children. I wish the master bedroom, bathroom and closet in this house could be transported to my home. They're spacious and nicely appointed.
We utilized the adjoining 'nanny suite' which gave us the perfect amount of bedrooms we needed for everyone. Also liked that there aren't too many stairs in the main house which is nice if you have an older person or young children in the family. There is a fairly narrow staircase into the nanny suite, FYI.
Will definitely seek out this house again for future Tahoe stays. Owners are friendly and get back to you right away."
