  • Perfect for our active family

"This home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the house had something for everyone. We used the badminton, spa, plenty of board games, books, and even 2 toy bins to entertain our local friends 3 &5 year olds who stopped by one night. The bedrooms were roomy and spaced far enough for privacy for two families. We didn't expect two living rooms as the photos show one. Our dog loved the yard, plenty of room to run around."

  • We Loved everything about this home!

"This home was perfect for our family vacation. The home was beautiful, the view was beautiful. We could not have asked for anything more. The home was even more spacious than expected from the photos. We had our three sons, one daughter in law and one girlfriend. Everyone had their own personal space, and yet the common areas were large enough and very comfortable for the 7 of us to gather and play games, watch movies, read and relax. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck/pier. Great way to start the day. Great view of the Lake from every room. Loved preparing meals in the kitchen with the Lake just outside the window. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate many cooks and helpers at one time. We brought in CB's Pizza one night. (less than a mile away) Very good pizza. We ate one night at Christy Hills in Tahoe City. Great! We ate in the house most nights because we hated to leave our own personal lakeside view!! There was also a large game/puzzle table not shown in the photos. We had a 1000 piece puzzle going all week, so nice to have a spot where we could leave it out and not have it be in the way. We would love to return to this home, and would highly recommend it to others."

  • Rustic Spacious Elegance

"I gathered a group of 12 to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was perfect for our gathering, with a giant sectional in front of a grand stone fireplace, and plenty of bedrooms and baths for all. I was afraid I would find that the photos online were ancient and not representative of the house currently, but I was thrilled with how perfect the house was. Everything was clean and modern, good quality sheets and towels. The lake was a block and a half away. The back yard was gorgeous and fenced with a deck and hot tub. We plugged a smart phone into the stereo and had great music throughout the downstairs. Only 2 bedrooms are on the main floor so if your party has difficulty with stairs (not to mention the impact of the altitude!!) it wouldn't be a good fit. The only negative is that the kitchen space was tight for 12 people. There wasn't any room to move around the table and the work space, while large in square feet, was long and narrow. Also, plan for LOTS of extra cooking time due in part to altitude but also (we think) because of the gas flow. We would definitely go back to this comfortable and lovely home."

  • Boater's Paradise

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very nice, not as clean as I would have expected, for the amount of money we paid to stay there, (and the cleaning fee we paid). The upstairs bathroom was slow to flush, so we didn't use it. 1 bedroom had no lights that worked, the backdoor didn't lock, and there was trash under the staircase outside. The house was very dusty and could have been vacuumed before we arrived. I wasn't contacted by Marmot to get the code for the keys and had to contact them, no one called or emailed me back, so I called at 4:00pm the day before and they said they were just going to get back to me."
