  • We were too busy doing nothing to do most anything.....

"Complete and total relaxation. Beautiful site and accommodations. Great air and temps. Watched no TV, read no newspapers. Ate in and out once a day. Lots of reading and jigsawing. Our 1st Tahoe visit for our 40th anniversary. This is what one to one is all about."

  • Comfy, Cozy Tahoe Get-Away

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this very comfortable home. The house was very clean upon our arrival, and we enjoyed sitting in front of a fire in the massive rock fireplace while watching the snow drift down. It is a great place for people who want to bring pets with them. The back yard is completely fenced so our dogs had a blast frolicking in the snow. It is also easy driving distance to both Squaw Valley and NorthStar for skiiing. The only reason we're not giving this house five stars is due to some deferred maintenance items. The vent fan for the stove is broken, there is a broken storm window in the dining room, the jacuzzi jets in the master bedroom tub are inoperable and the blow dryer in the master bedroom really needs replacing. That said, we would strongly consider this house again for a future ski trip."

  • Adorable Home Away from Home

"This is our second stay at this lovely cabin and we are glad we returned for another visit. It is well appointed with everything a family needs in a rental, from spices, hot cocoa and coffee/tee in the cabinets to cuddly stuffed animals and toys for the children. The owner has achieved the vintage look with her well thought out decor. The beds are complete with down comforters and high quality sheets and comfy mattresses. I slept exceptionally well! The cabin backs up to the forest and the views of the sun shining through the pine trees was a welcome sight. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck and roasted smores. Our labradors were in doggy heaven and enjoyed the special treats the owner supplies! The weekend didn't go quite go as planned due to the smoke from the King fire (triathlon was cancelled), but we cozied up in the cabin, played games and spent quality family time. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches making this cabin a home away from home. We will return soon! The Blanchards"

"Rating: 5/5 Good cabin I really like the way Vacasa handle all the reservation, easy fast no mistakes. I would rent from them again no question. The cabin was good, not new is a little old but cute, good location, good for a family 6 to stay easily. Near mini golf, Safeway is 6 min and so was the beach. My only issue was the shower downstairs water was too much too hard and drain was not working well. I though was a lot waist of good water when we are in need to save them. Overall nice place 8))"
