"I stayed at this cabin for a long weekend with a friend and our dogs and could not have asked for more: It was very clean, treats and water bowls were waiting for the dogs, and it has a fully equipped kitchen. The backyard is gorgeous, we liked to just sit there in the morning sun and wait for the morning greeting committee (the dogs from the neighborhood) to stop by for their treats. It is really quiet and close to trails to walk the dogs on. Easy drive to King's Beach for a swim and shopping. We will come back again!"

"We recently stayed in Linda's charming cabin with with our two 7 year old kids and a great time was had by all! The cabin was so spacious, comfy and the ambience of a quintessential old school Tahoe cabin. There were lots of toys and games for the little ones to keep entertained with. The location was so scenic and it was an absolute joy to look out into the big windows in the living room and feel like we were in the middle of the woods, even though we were a few blocks away from town. We even got to watch a short summer lightning storm from safety of the porch. We highly recommend it and would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this home! My sister and I (along with our families) took our parents to Lake Tahoe to celebrate their 50th anniversary, so we wanted it to be special and memorable of course. For 6 adults and 4 children, it was a perfect amount of space. Two bedrooms including the master suite are upstairs, and two bedrooms are on the main floor (including the "kids" room with bunkbeds.) 3 bathrooms total, so each family had their own bathroom, which was exactly what we wanted! The home is very spacious but also "cabin-y" and comfortable, clean and uncluttered. There are three huge "mudrooms" at each of the entryways which are perfect if you've got snow boots in the winter.
The washer & dryer were convenient to have available on the main floor. The kitchen had nice dishware, enough for 12, and plenty of cooking tools. The owners provided some paper supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) and we were able to stock up for the week at the Safeway just up the road.
I was surprised (and concerned) that homes in Lake Tahoe generally don't have air conditioning. During the day we had one or two main windows open, but it was very pleasant - not too hot at all. At night it gets to be 40 degrees or so, and we left the windows open then, too. It was great!
Since there's so much to do at Lake Tahoe, we didn't spend the majority of our time in Carnelian Bay, although there is a nice beach area within a few minutes' walk. Mini golf, a pizza place, a laundromat and a 7-11 are just down the hill from the house. The neighborhood was quiet while we were there mid-June. There is a cabin on each side of this home and the yard is woodsy. The large balcony off the main living area is beautiful, overlooking the neighborhood and a peek of the lake. There's also another balcony upstairs off both bedrooms. which overlooks the backyard/woods.
The owner was very responsive to any questions and needs. She was very easy to work with, so we felt very secure planning our vacation."

"Our adult family of 4 came from out of state for a wedding in Reno and decided to stay for a few days to enjoy Tahoe. Loreen's cabin was perfect. Less than a 1 hour drive from Reno , short walk to the lake and hiking. The cabin was great too...cozy, clean and plenty of room. Our family enjoyed hanging out on the deck as well. Thanks Loreen for sharing your home with us."
