  • Great time

"We just got home today after staying for 9 days. It was very hard to leave. They have made the home very comfortable, and has everything you need. Thank you so much and we will definitely be renting again. Great neighborhood so quiet and pretty."

  • Wonderful weekend getaway for the offseason

"This is a charming cabin, ideally situated for hikes and a brief walk to the lake. We brought our lab and loved being able to head for a 6 mile hilly loop trail right off the back porch with a picnic at Sawmill lake. We also really enjoyed the pebble beach lake (dog and children friendly), 7 minute walk and in some ways a little more clean than a normal beach as there was no sand. Water shoes, Vibrams, or the like make for a more comfortable jaunt, though there are plenty of sandy beaches just a brief drive away. The cabin was cozy, towels, floor heaters, and plenty of blankets enjoy. Incredible sandwich shop (we're sandwich snobs) moments away in King's Beach, and a nearby Safeway for a few grocery items. All positive. The ceiling on the second floor was quirky, albeit my 6'2" husband had to be careful to mind his head in a few places. I thought it was a clever use of space. Our only request/suggestion would be for blinds or drapes to be installed at some point to help with privacy in the evening with the lights on indoors. Overall, would definitely stay here again; the location and charm sold us."

  • Great ending to our Winter Break

"We had a great experience at the Lynnwood Chalet. We were drawn to the property for the snow run in the back yard, and it did not disappoint. The house was very clean, which was a huge plus for us. Our children enjoyed the game room, and my husband and I enjoyed the calm and serene surroundings. We ate at the Gar restaraunt our first night there, and they has the BEST burger and crab cakes. We ate in the rest of our stay and found the Lynnwood Chalet Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking gear for each meal. I was also impressed with the level of thoughtfulness given by the owners for their guests. They had eatery information posted along with emergency contacts such as local hospitals. Cabinets were labeled and little amenities were found in the kitchen and bathrooms. Personal notes were left in albums which provided a rich history if the property's journey. We also enjoyed reading about Tahoe's history as provided. We are thankful for such a wonderful family experience. We would recommend this property to future families. We hope to return next Winter. • Spacious house, Excellent Views, Well Appointed!

"This house is great for a large group. The multi-floor layout made it perfect for quiet sleeping and getting away to read or work. The living rooms were big enough to comfortably accommodate us all. The dining room table was also large enough to accommodate the entire group. The best part of this house is the incredible unobstructed view of the lake and mountains. The house is nicely appointed, especially the kitchen. You can tell the owners put a lot of time and thought into stocking the house. We are all cooks and we did not find the kitchen lacking anything, it was nice not having to go out and buy spices! The furniture and bedding seemed new and of high quality. The owners were super easy to work with. This is the place to stay. We'll be back."
