  • Great home for multiple families

"We were three families staying at this home with 7 adults and 6 kids. The home is located near the golf course and the shuttle picked us up quickly. There was plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. I never felt I was going to run out of anything. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper (I've stayed in other homes where there was only enough for one day) and there is a ton of closet space to store your belongings. The owners were fantastic and when my 4 yr old, left her doll and the cleaning staff couldnt locate it, the house manager himself went in and found it for us. Thanks and we look forward to possibly booking this home again inth e future."

  • Stunning views, great amenities, clean, contemporary, comfortable, and convenient

"Our family stayed over a weekend for some wonderful spring skiing at Squaw Valley, my favorite ski area (for a splurge). It is set among some spectacular ski chalets in a very desirable area. The first thing you notice is a well-designed entry hall and mud room, then you descend to the living area whichi has a tall wall of windows, with a commanding view of the Squaw Valley resort and mountain peaks. The living area has comfortable furnishings, and lets the whole family cook, eat, and relax together while enjoying the views, the fireplace, and the TV. We were able to watch Netflix using the installed gear and wifi Internet service, no hassle. Most rooms in the house and the decks enjoy the same stunning view as the living area. Even at night, you can see the resort lit up beneath you. There are no houses anywhere in sight below this one, so you can look out without neighbors looking in. The quality of finish and condition of the house are first rate, suggesting a complete interior remodel just recently. We had no trouble with any of the amenities, appliances, or furnishings. The hot tub is large Hot Springs model (a quality brand) and works well. It is on a deck off one of the master bedrooms, and enjoys the same gorgeous view, while maintaining privacy from neighboring houses. We drove a very short distance from the house to the Squaw Valley parking lot, stopping first to drop off our skis near the tram base. It would be a short walk if you scrambled down the hillside, but we did not try that."

  • Spectacular View, Very Comfortable Stay

"My husband and I were very pleased with our long weekend stay. The views are spectacular, the house was very clean, and we had an all around comfortable stay. It is a great location right outside of Tahoe city and the major attractions, but the area in Dollar Point is very peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back for another stay!"

  • Rustic Spacious Elegance

"I gathered a group of 12 to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was perfect for our gathering, with a giant sectional in front of a grand stone fireplace, and plenty of bedrooms and baths for all. I was afraid I would find that the photos online were ancient and not representative of the house currently, but I was thrilled with how perfect the house was. Everything was clean and modern, good quality sheets and towels. The lake was a block and a half away. The back yard was gorgeous and fenced with a deck and hot tub. We plugged a smart phone into the stereo and had great music throughout the downstairs. Only 2 bedrooms are on the main floor so if your party has difficulty with stairs (not to mention the impact of the altitude!!) it wouldn't be a good fit. The only negative is that the kitchen space was tight for 12 people. There wasn't any room to move around the table and the work space, while large in square feet, was long and narrow. Also, plan for LOTS of extra cooking time due in part to altitude but also (we think) because of the gas flow. We would definitely go back to this comfortable and lovely home."
