"We have been coming to Donner Lake every year for years but the property where we used to stay was recently sold. I feel like we lucked out picking this one, and we plan to make it our new Donner vacation location. The cabin is in a great location, close to the lake but on a quiet street and we especially enjoyed the evening walks in the neighborhood away from the lake where we spotted deer, owls and other wildlife in among the cabins. Just beautiful.
We had a last minute requirement come up for a family member and the owner, Phyllis, really went out of her way to accommodate us when she didn't have to. And she could have charged us for the extra trouble and didn't. Thank you Phyllis!"

"We held our family reunion here and it worked out great. We had 11 adults and 9 children, ages 2-9. The fenced backyard was a big plus as we could send the kids outside without worry. The hot tub is large. There is plenty of room to eat inside or out. The kitchen was smaller than we would have liked, but it was well-stocked with everything we needed. The playroom upstairs, with the pool table was well used and the kids liked sleeping in the same room with the bunk beds. It is a close drive to Tahoe City.
We loved the pool and being able to walk there from the house. The location is great and it is easy to go either direction, to Tahoe City or King's Beach. I recommend it."

"My family and I just stayed at the cabin last week. It was clean and quaint. It was above 80 degrees everyday but the cabin seemed to stay cool. The public beach was a 10 minute walk from the cabin and we enjoyed spending the day there using the kayak to paddle around. The hot tub was cold when we arrived but called Savanna and she pointed me in the right direction to heat it up! My girls enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings. Great cabin although I agree with others the stairs are very creaky going down to the bathroom at night. Other than that it was a nice place to stay."

"This spacious home was exactly what we were looking. The house had everything we needed. I would recommend this place for families with kids. The bunk room was a hit, so was the hot tub. My only complaint was the lack of snow which we all blamed on mother nature."
