  • Great Tahoe House

"My family of six and another family of 4 stayed in this wonderful home. We have rented many homes via VRBO, but this home really had all the amenites we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with two sets of cutlery and plenty of dishes. There is an island with an additional sink so two people can be cooking at the same time. The family room is very open and connected to the kitchen so that the kids can play while the adults cook and can keep an eye on them. The downstairs family room was a great bonus and allowed us some quiet reading time and kids homework time. There was garage parking and the bus came almost immediatly when we called to take us to the slopes. The owner, Shirley, was very easy to work with. I will rent this cabin again."

  • Great vacation house!

"A wonderful vacation house. Gourmet kitchen with lots of extras (fresh herbs and tomatoes). Sleeps 8 easily. Enjoyable hot tub at the end of the day. Our grand kids enjoyed the beach, pool, play area, and extra toys to play with. Convenient location away from the traffic in Tahoe City. Highly recommen this vacation house!"

  • Simply amazing!

"My family was just in aww...the house was impressive. The exterior of the house is just as warming and inviting as the inside of the house. Plenty of space as it mentions, we did not have 11 people by no means but could see it easily sleeping that no problem. Loved the hammock outside. Beds were very nice. Lots of board games for after dinner fun. Even toys and such for the little ones. We brought our two year old with us and she too had a blast. The house is just a mile from the lake as well as the shopping and restaurants. We went to kings beach, very nice. The property was very clean and maintained. The manager of the property is over the top nice. We would love to come back next summer. We would love to try in the winter for some skiing. I would defiantly recommend this property to friends and my relatives. The pros: everything. The cons: we should have listen to the owner as far as staying longer. Two days was not enough. A must place to stay."

Snow-capped Goodness at Lake Tahoe

The summer months are just the tip of the iceberg – wintering in Lake Forest lodging also has tons to offer. The local mountains offer plenty of skiing opportunities, as well as snowshoeing, tubing, dogsledding and sleigh rides. Take the kids to Jib Park for mini log slides and natural obstacles, or boost the adventure at Mineshaft Adventure Park where you can take the Gondola Express up to the top of the hill and slide down. Finish the week with a mountain tour and relaxing in Lake Forest cabins.
