"This was our second visit to this condo at Northstar. The location is fantastic, and we love the Village at Northstar. Lots to do with kids. The beds, pillows and linens here are super comfy. I love the layout (bedrooms on opposite ends), and that there are two king beds. Leslie is so helpful and accommodating. She was in close touch despite being on vacation while we stayed.
I unfortunately can only give the unit four stars this go around. I am not sure if someone recently "cleaned out" the unit when they stayed, but we found only one tall and one short glass in the cabinets. There were some small plastic cups, but not what we wanted to use for nicer meals. Several kitchen items needed rewashing and there was gunk growing in the water dispenser tray. There were only three washcloths for both bathrooms, and there was no laundry detergent, so we couldn't even do a load of laundry to replenish what we needed. There was also no dish detergent or sponges. I know not all rentals supply these things, but I expected them based on our prior stay, and the general quality of rental this unit is.
Neither DVD player worked, and the TV in the second bedroom had no working remote and several buttons on the TV would not function. The only way to get the TV to turn off was to move the dresser and unplug it (which explains why we found it unplugged). We spent a long time trying to remedy the technology problems so that our child could watch a much anticipated movie, but we finally gave up. Leslie was very attentive and offered us a DVD player from her other unit several times, but at that point we just called it a day.
This unit has a lot to offer, but I think it needs a little attention to get it back to the level it was at before."

"We had a great stay at your Northstar home. We were in Tahoe for a family wedding (actually in Northstar) so the location was perfect. The only hiccup seemed to be slow or lack of communication. Did not effect our stay at all but we were just concerned about the fact that the door did not lock and we had no response back as to what to do. Would highly recommend this property."
