  • Excellent value

"The owner was very responsive and helpful. We stayed with 2 small children and they loved all the toys and fireplace. The place was comfortable for us - 4 adults and 2kids. There was a large dining area and a comfortable couch to relax on."

  • Exceeded expectations

"Prior to even arriving the communication with the property owner making sure we had and knew everything we needed was terrific. The location was very nice, clean and comfortable. Only 1.5 miles to Tahoe City and there's a bike/walking path from the condo. And to the East, Kings Beach is less than 15 minute drive."

  • Great Cabin. Perfect Location.

"The pictures don't really do this property justice. The view from the clean updated deck is fantastic, and the nearby trees provide just enough shade when you need it. Architecturally this is kind of like mid-century modern meets cozy rustic Tahoe. The master bedroom is on one side and the two smaller bedrooms on the other, separated by the large open living area in the middle with the kitchen facing the lake. The property is situated at the end of a large open cul-de-sac that backs into open forest with only a couple of neighboring homes. So if you have small children with bikes they can safely ride around and you have comfort in knowing there's no through traffic. The downhill walk or bike ride to Sunnyside, the Tahoe House or even Tahoe City is fun and simple. For return bike rides you'll probably want to just walk your bicycle back up the hill at the end, but my middle-aged legs managed it once or twice (with the right gear of course). There is some traffic noise from the main road below, so this is not a location if you want complete Alpine peace and seclusion. However, the view and conveniences more than drown out that imperfection. We'll be returning again for sure!"

  • Great multi-family get a way

"We recently rented this home for one week with another family. We had a total of 4 adults and 4 children 6 and under. The layout of the home was perfect for two families of this size. The home is located a very short walk from a great private beach which has a playground, a few great restaurants and a bike rental spot. Tahoe City is a short drive away (traffic depending). The home owners were very easy to deal with and the house was very well equipped with everything you might need for a week away. We would definitely return."
