  • Great Cabin. Perfect Location.

"The pictures don't really do this property justice. The view from the clean updated deck is fantastic, and the nearby trees provide just enough shade when you need it. Architecturally this is kind of like mid-century modern meets cozy rustic Tahoe. The master bedroom is on one side and the two smaller bedrooms on the other, separated by the large open living area in the middle with the kitchen facing the lake. The property is situated at the end of a large open cul-de-sac that backs into open forest with only a couple of neighboring homes. So if you have small children with bikes they can safely ride around and you have comfort in knowing there's no through traffic. The downhill walk or bike ride to Sunnyside, the Tahoe House or even Tahoe City is fun and simple. For return bike rides you'll probably want to just walk your bicycle back up the hill at the end, but my middle-aged legs managed it once or twice (with the right gear of course). There is some traffic noise from the main road below, so this is not a location if you want complete Alpine peace and seclusion. However, the view and conveniences more than drown out that imperfection. We'll be returning again for sure!"

  • Ultimate vacation home in Tahoe

"We recently stayed at your house at Lake Tahoe. It was a great experience. Tahoe is wonderful in the Summer and the view of the lake from the back deck is spectacular. The house is welcoming and very well furnished. Everything was clean and organized. There is plenty of room for the kids to sleep in the bunk room and the adults enjoyed the spacious Master suite. The house is well located near Tahoe City where there are many activities to enjoy. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and well laid out for entertaining. Our party enjoyed our co-opertive breakfasts and dinners with plenty of room to prepare and eat. The layout of the house includes three bedrooms and a bunk room with multiple beds for the kids. The kids space is set up with their own entertainment area that allows them to have their own space. We only stayed three nights this time around but will look forward to spending more time next year. There are so many things to do in the summer at the lake."

  • Another 5-star stay!

"The unit is in a quiet location--no road noise, and the construction is solid enough (with double-paned windows throughout) that we didn’t hear our neighbors. Kitchen and bathrooms looked to be recently remodeled. Internet was fast (22Mbps download) and reliable. Both pools were clean, warm, and in excellent repair. There were bathrooms on-site. The family pool had lots of float rings, noodles, and balls to play with. You can park right next to the family pool. The adult pool is in the middle of a grassy area with beautiful landscaping and a gazebo. We were allowed to take our kids into the adult pool, sauna, and hot tub (101 degrees) when there were no adults using them."

  • Perfect family getaway!

"We stayed here with our 5 year old and 8 month old for a week this past February and absolutely LOVED it. The location was great and we really enjoyed walking to the Tahoe House Bakery around the corner (a must try), even in knee deep snow! The house is close to a lot of nice restaurants as well as the grocery store, yet you still feel like you're away from it all while there. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. There were sleds available for use and a nice little sledding area practically right outside the front door. We also loved being somewhat close to Truckee as we have friends who live there and we love walking around the shops and dining up there (ask for Larissa if you go to the Truckee Starbucks!) The hot tub was a fun addition, especially while it snowed! Charlene was a pleasure to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again!"

Tahoe City Travel Tips

Why Stay in Tahoe City Vacation Rentals?

Families love to vacation in Tahoe City because of the huge lake and great full-service marinas. You should stay in Tahoe City vacation rentals this year and see why so many people come to this destination year after year. Bring your own boat or rent one from the marina; it doesn't matter because you are going to have a great time playing on the water no matter what. See if there are any Tahoe City vacation rentals available for your stay.

Tahoe City Cabins Make Water Recreation Easy

If you own your own boat, you are going to want to find one of the many Tahoe City cabins that are located right on the lake. This way you can dock your boat at your rental property and not have to pay a fee to store it at the Marina and Mall. It also makes water recreation a lot easier because you can just go out your back door and hop on your boat. What's even better is that you can play just off shore of the lake in a private place where you know your family will be safe when you stay in Lake Tahoe vacation rentals instead of at a hotel.

There is more to do in Tahoe City than play in the water. Let Lake Tahoe Parasailing take you on the adventure of a lifetime soaring through the air. Or go visit Tessie's Lake Tahoe Monster Museum. It is especially fun for kids as they have daily visits from costumed dinosaurs. For the outdoors lovers, there is Sugar Pine Point State Park that has great hiking trails. After a long day of fun, you'll be glad you booked comfortable Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging. Enjoy your vacation.
