  • Great Cabin. Perfect Location.

"The pictures don't really do this property justice. The view from the clean updated deck is fantastic, and the nearby trees provide just enough shade when you need it. Architecturally this is kind of like mid-century modern meets cozy rustic Tahoe. The master bedroom is on one side and the two smaller bedrooms on the other, separated by the large open living area in the middle with the kitchen facing the lake. The property is situated at the end of a large open cul-de-sac that backs into open forest with only a couple of neighboring homes. So if you have small children with bikes they can safely ride around and you have comfort in knowing there's no through traffic. The downhill walk or bike ride to Sunnyside, the Tahoe House or even Tahoe City is fun and simple. For return bike rides you'll probably want to just walk your bicycle back up the hill at the end, but my middle-aged legs managed it once or twice (with the right gear of course). There is some traffic noise from the main road below, so this is not a location if you want complete Alpine peace and seclusion. However, the view and conveniences more than drown out that imperfection. We'll be returning again for sure!"

  • Perfect Family Vacation Spot

"This property is really something!!We've spend a fair amount of time at Tahoe in the last 20 years, year-round, including hotel and condo-lodging at S. and N. Shore, Squaw Valley, Sunnyside, etc., and our stay here was one of the best of any so far.The location is excellent, groceries are within walking distance and the store has an amazing selection of fresh and gourmet foods, for example La Brea breads. We walked to our favorite local coffee store every morning as well, where they serve Illy coffee w/a smile. With quick access to the bike/walking trail along the river, again, the location could not be better. The unit was very quiet and has plenty of parking. The kitchen is especially well-equipped, there was not one item we needed and could not find, lots of extra dishes, silverware, etc.The decor is tasteful yet comfortable, the bathrooms are especially nice and well done.Linens are more than ample, we did run out of shower, cleaning and paper supplies and trash bags, which you are expected to replenish. One of the queen beds is more of a futon and slightly less comfortable but just fine for those who can sleep anywhere. The grassy area right in front of the unit was perfect for the 2 pre-schoolers in our family, as well as the "sand-pit" for playing, as the beach right there is rocky but no problem w/shoes on.We brought a boat, dock service to and from the mooring was prompt and convenient.Views of the lake are excellent, especially at sunset! We'd return to this property in a heartbeat, any time of year!"

"We brought our children and grandchildren (aged 2 and 4) for 6 nights to this incredible townhome. The accomodations are lovely and the kitchen better equipped than my own! Backyard has ample space for children to play. The deck is wonderful for dining and watching the sunset. The living area is extra spacious, and the narrow table in the living area was perfect for our granddaughters to create art and play with leggos. We used the lovely pool and the tennis courts. The managers were extremely helpful with a few problems that had to be resolved. We will return to this rental and highly recommend it!"

  • Another 5-star stay!

"The unit is in a quiet location--no road noise, and the construction is solid enough (with double-paned windows throughout) that we didn’t hear our neighbors. Kitchen and bathrooms looked to be recently remodeled. Internet was fast (22Mbps download) and reliable. Both pools were clean, warm, and in excellent repair. There were bathrooms on-site. The family pool had lots of float rings, noodles, and balls to play with. You can park right next to the family pool. The adult pool is in the middle of a grassy area with beautiful landscaping and a gazebo. We were allowed to take our kids into the adult pool, sauna, and hot tub (101 degrees) when there were no adults using them."
