"We really enjoyed our stay at the huge Swiss Lane cabin. The big open family room with the wall-size projector was the perfect stage for the kids' lipsync battle - it was one of the highlights of the weekend. We were able to sync the Samsung with YouTube on a smartphone to play the music videos. We enjoyed the hot tub, steam shower, massage chair, cozy rooms, big kitchen, and not to forget the hammock on the patio. It was the perfect spot for taking a nap under the shady pines while taking in the fresh summer breeze. The kids also enjoyed playing hoops and ping-pong while the grownups enjoyed hikes at Donner Lake and Glacier Loop (a few made a quick trip to nearby Reno). The only drawback was the water temperature in the showers unexpectedly switching from hot to cold, but it's a minor inconvenience. Everyone had a wonderful time! Thanks Alex for making the cabin available and comfortable for us. We will definitely come back!"

"This home was very comfortable and close to shops and restaurants. In addition, we had a wedding at the Lodge at Tahoe Donner, and the property was an extremely convenient 1-mile drive to the Lodge and other facilities. The owner was accessible and easy to work with. Stairs leading from driveway to front door would be an issue for people with certain disabilities. Also took 2 minutes to get to Donner Lake State Park."

"This rental is extremely family-friendly with a play area nook, large porches for snow-shoveling fun for the kids, bunk-beds, and a large family area with a fireplace. The owners were kind enough to allow us to bring our dog as well. Other useful amenities include parking for three cars, boot and laundry rooms, and plenty of storage areas. The bedrooms are sufficiently large and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very responsive and pleasant. The travel time to Sugar and Alpine is about the same, so the house works well for groups going in different directions each day. The house is located on a quiet street, so it's safe for the kids to play in the front yard and for walking the dog. The price is also very reasonable."
