  • Tahoe Donner Holiday Over New Year's 2014

"The house was perfect for our two families (each 2 adults plus 2 kids). It was clean and well maintained. Kitchen had lots of dishes, pots, casserole dishes, serviceable knives, nice coffee maker, etc. Garage had sleds for the kids. The home is very comfortable in a great location and the owner was efficient and helpful. I'd recommend this home to anyone visiting the area."

  • Great Stay!

"This is a great place to stay in the lake Tahoe area! We loved it. It was clean, the hot tub was awesome, and the beds were comfy! The owners were easy to deal with and extremely helpful. We will go back to stay here again! It is in a great location. Truckee is fun and has everything you need, and there are lots of ski areas close by. Its not far from Tahoe City either. We like it better than the south shore area of Tahoe! It's a gorgeous quiet getaway with beautiful trees to see in the backyard. Can't wait to go back!"

  • Great place!

"We had a wonderful time at this condo. We were 2 families with kids 6 and under, and there was plenty of space for us all. The kids loved the bunk room and all of the toys. We loved the open living room/kitchen, and the private deck. The private beach nearby was fantastic for kids & adults, with a snack bar, bathrooms, kayak & paddle board rentals. The clubhouse & pool were walking distance, with a great playground for the kids & a pizza place as well! The condo was neat & clean, cozy and just what we needed for a relaxing summer weekend!"

  • Great Summer Rental!

"This house was perfect for family all over (SF, Chicago, Texas, SoCal) to meet and spend week together. We love the amenities and community of Tahoe Donner and that Tahoe City is only 20min drive. Location is perfect. The house itself is stunning, kitchen had everything we needed and more and all bedrooms were nicely equipped with anything and everything, one room even has a crib! Definitely recommend this house to anyone."

Tahoe Donner Travel Tips

Tahoe Donner Vacation Rentals Feel Like Home

Lake Tahoe has long been one of America's playgrounds and vacation destinations because of the temperate climate and breathtaking scenery. When planning a Lake Tahoe getaway, consider Tahoe Donner vacation rentals for your Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging needs. Nestled in gorgeous pine forests of the Sierra Mountains, Tahoe Donner cabins come in a large selection ranging from luxury lodges for larger groups to cozy cabins for a couple. Tahoe Donner vacation rentals are located only three miles from Donner Lake and less than 10 miles from Lake Tahoe's northern shore, allowing you to enjoy the attractions, but feel like you're at home.

Tahoe Donner Vacation Rentals Are near Natural Attractions

Just minutes from your Tahoe Donner cabin is Tahoe Donner Memorial State Park. In winter, opportunities to cross-country ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile abound, and in warmer months, visitors can swim, fish, picnic, hike, and water-ski. Inside the park, the Emigrant Trail Museum pays homage to early emigrants who paved the way for California's future. View artifacts and learn about the Donner Party, forced to camp in the wilderness during winter and experienced much loss of life.

Less than 10 miles southwest from your Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging is a more rustic experience found in Granite Chief Wilderness. Over 19,000 acres of undeveloped, untouched natural beauty is home to many non-motorized recreations. Spend the day beneath towering pines, enjoying granite cliffs, glacial valleys, rock formations, and wildflower-filled meadows.

Tahoe Donner Vacation Rentals: A Place to Play

Enjoy a day at West End Beach on Lake Tahoe. A playground and volleyball and tennis courts present a family game opportunity and, afterward, relish a sunset while eating a picnic dinner by the fire pit. When your busy Lake Tahoe day is done, return to your cabin to enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening with your loved ones.
