  • Perfect House!

"Our stay was amazing. The house is conveniently located near stores and ski resorts. When we arrived everything was clean and in order. There were 7 adults and 4 kids in our group and the configuration of the home was perfect for us. The house is beautiful and helped to make our Tahoe trip the best we've had in years. The owner was great to work with as well. We would definitely stay here again without question."

  • Wonderful family home

"The Copenhagen house was a comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay. We had 4 adults and 3 children with plenty of room left over. The kids loved the bunk beds, air hockey, ping pong and open space. The adults loved the upstairs living room to relax while the kids played down stairs. This house was very clean, very well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood location that was still close to down town Truckee and Donner Lake. We had a wonderful long weekend in this home."

  • Not just a perfect winter retreat

"Many of the other reviews rave about winter at this beautiful home, but it's equally fantastic in the summer. We've stayed in it MANY times in the past and love its spaciousness and all the amenities it offers. It's like a second home to us. An additional plus is Paula, the owner, who is always responsive and accommodating to our needs. She's also made it very 'renter friendly' by having instructions on how to work the TV/DVR setup and appliances. The area is perfect for getting to nearby Truckee restaurants or trailheads for fabulous hikes like Mr. Judah or visiting nearby Donner Lake. We'd recommend it to anyone!"

Tahoe Donner Travel Tips

Tahoe Donner Vacation Rentals Feel Like Home

Lake Tahoe has long been one of America's playgrounds and vacation destinations because of the temperate climate and breathtaking scenery. When planning a Lake Tahoe getaway, consider Tahoe Donner vacation rentals for your Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging needs. Nestled in gorgeous pine forests of the Sierra Mountains, Tahoe Donner cabins come in a large selection ranging from luxury lodges for larger groups to cozy cabins for a couple. Tahoe Donner vacation rentals are located only three miles from Donner Lake and less than 10 miles from Lake Tahoe's northern shore, allowing you to enjoy the attractions, but feel like you're at home.

Tahoe Donner Vacation Rentals Are near Natural Attractions

Just minutes from your Tahoe Donner cabin is Tahoe Donner Memorial State Park. In winter, opportunities to cross-country ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile abound, and in warmer months, visitors can swim, fish, picnic, hike, and water-ski. Inside the park, the Emigrant Trail Museum pays homage to early emigrants who paved the way for California's future. View artifacts and learn about the Donner Party, forced to camp in the wilderness during winter and experienced much loss of life.

Less than 10 miles southwest from your Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging is a more rustic experience found in Granite Chief Wilderness. Over 19,000 acres of undeveloped, untouched natural beauty is home to many non-motorized recreations. Spend the day beneath towering pines, enjoying granite cliffs, glacial valleys, rock formations, and wildflower-filled meadows.

Tahoe Donner Vacation Rentals: A Place to Play

Enjoy a day at West End Beach on Lake Tahoe. A playground and volleyball and tennis courts present a family game opportunity and, afterward, relish a sunset while eating a picnic dinner by the fire pit. When your busy Lake Tahoe day is done, return to your cabin to enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening with your loved ones.
