Very well furnished townhouse
"The townhouse is also close to beaches including a private beach just next to it. But if you want a really great beach you must take a 30 drive Sand Harbor beach."

"The house is very comfortable and plenty of space for two families with kids. It was very clean, rustic, decorated nicely and great location for Tough Mudder event and Kings Beach access. I loved the outdoor deck and seating but wish it would have had a hot tub with all that space. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this cabin again. It was very affordable compared to other options in the area."

"We had a wonderful one week summer vacation with adult children and pup. The house was even better than described with very comfortable accommodations for three couples as well as bunk beds for children (unused by us) and a sofa bed in the living room for 2 more. The layout was great for us as the master bedroom, kitchen, and living room are upstairs with the other bedrooms one story down. Our adult kids had some privacy as did we. The deck was where we did most of our dining and gas barbecue grilling. We just loved the view of trees and birds and a slim glimpse of the lake.
The location of the house was perfect for us. It is located an easy walk, 1 "block" away from the Lake which is where all the traffic is. The actual street the house is on and all the streets around it seemed deserted to us city folk. One can walk in the middle of the street and easily get out of the way of infrequent cars. Having a dog we walked all over the place exploring both the streets and the woods that are a short ways away. It seems that the North Tahoe Regional Park is quite nearby which has everything from well groomed trails for walking and mtn. biking as well as ball fields. There were beautiful tall pines to wonder at and worry that a giant pine cone would conk you on the head. The house had two adult mtn. bikes and several kid size bikes as well as two helmets and bike pump. We enjoyed the rides but serious riders might want to bring more bikes.
The beach right across the main road was wonderful as it is a good sand beach with sandy approaches to the water. The water is quite shallow which allows for it being warmed by the sun and not as freezing as Tahoe can be in other locations. On the beach one could get catamaran sailing lessons, rent kayaks and down the road go parasailing (not this beach but not far.)
The WiFi worked great and it was a cinch to connect a computer to the widescreen tv in the living room for movie streaming via a HDMI cable which I had thought to bring. It would be a nice touch to have a HDMI cable available. There was a great selection of board games for family entertainment and a few toys for tots.
The weather was beautiful with warm days and cool nights perfect for sleeping without air conditioning. If you like the mountains, trees, birds and a great lake, you could not do better than the Agatam Lodge. I imagine with Squaw, Northstar, and Incline nearby it would be great as a ski house in the winter."
