Amazing place to hang with big group
"Love this place. It's in amazing condition, huge space, all the facilities you need and super close to the ski resorts and Lake Tahoe. Will be back"

"We really enjoyed this home and all its amenities! Great layout for enjoying time together, cooking and hot-tubbing. The kitchen was well-equipped and bedrooms & bathrooms were well furnished as well. Two wonderful deck/patio areas front and back of house! Pool table made for fun, although its a tight squeeze for some shots! We appreciated the helpful binders with info on the house and its contents as well. Location was terrific....easy access to the lake and the Agate Bay club. Folks at Agate Bay Realty made the reservation & stay/checkout process a breeze. Only two recommendations would be: to add a better description online of the bed layout (Master w/King, One Queen room, one double bed + bunk room. Futon in loft and I guess a Queen pullout in LR?) The double bed + bunk room is small....pretty cozy for our college aged son & high school son. And it would have been great to have a couple of fans available for the two downstairs bedrooms to keep sleepers cool. Master has a wonderful ceiling fan as does the Living Room! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!"

"This house was exactly what we wanted for our time in Tahoe!! Close enough to King's Beach for convenience but far enough to really get away! Our family loved our time there - and the price was very reasonable!"

"We had a wonderful weekend at Boring Manor! There were 7 of us, and we were very comfortable. My wife and I had one bedroom, my wife's parents had another bedroom, and our three adult children had another bedroom (two twins and a bunk bed). The dining room table was very large and well suited for meals and games, and the large couches in the living room afforded room for everyone. The couches were so comfortable - and perfect for naps. The house is close enough to the lake that we could drive there in 5-10 minutes, but also removed enough so that it was very peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for food prep. We BBQ'd Tri Tip one night on the back deck, and there were even some charcoal briquettes there for our use - along with a BBQ starter (can to hold the briquettes while they heated up). We spent time at Kings Beach, where the water in Lake Tahoe was perfect for swimming - and the water gets deeper very gradually. We made a trip over the to the Biltmore Casino and had fun playing blackjack and video poker (pretty much broke even). The owner, Anne Carlson, was wonderful to deal with. She answered all of our questions, and she would quickly answer any question that we texted to her. After our stay, Anne mailed us a check returning our security deposit within about a week. We would definitely stay at Boring Manor again!!!"
