  • wonderful lake house, community and setting!

"As a VRBO owner myself, I was delighted to be a renter finally. And This Tahoe property was perfect for the 2 families! Gorgeous house, perfect location, helpful property manager on-site. We had 4 kids with us, and they ran out the front door to the pier and lake, played soccer on the lawn, swam in the pool, rented kayaks within walking distance, watched the sun set from the pier. And we all had a great time. The house was stocked well with everything we needed, and organized, clean and comfy! Thanks for a wonderful Mountain getaway!"

  • Very Nice

"Stayed here for a long weekend of skiing. This place is very close to Northstar, but because of the way the roads are configured, it's about 20 minutes to Squaw/Alpine. The cabin is very comfortable. Cozy, but not small, and the pictures really don't do it justice; it's very well maintained. There's a "secret clubhouse" hidden upstairs (I won't tell you where it is), and the 2.5 year old in our group loved it; he kept dragging people in there to play with him. Also, having had plenty of experience staying in Tahoe rental cabins, I've come to expect entertainment systems that belong in a 70s museum. But here, the living room had a nice big flatscreen with satellite, DVD, and sound system (the provided Miles Davis CDs make for nice background music while chatting around the fire). I would only ask that an HDMI connection be provided so I could plug in my laptop... WiFi is available, which is good, since AT&T cell service is spotty. BTW, the keypad door lock is brilliant! I'm always paranoid about losing keys while on the slopes, or accidentally pocketing keys on the way home (like I did last year). Small detail, but makes life so much easier. Overall, great place, and extremely good value."

  • Exceeded our Expectations!

"Over the last 20 years, my family has stayed at many different places on the North and South shore during our annual return to Lake Tahoe, and this house was by far our most favorite! This year we had family joining us from out of town, and we required a place where our large family could comfortably stay. True to the listing photos, this house was perfect for us--it was well-maintained and felt spacious, yet cozy. The pool table, ping pong table, jacuzzi, and amply stocked toy boxes were all put to good use by various members of the family, and a gorgeous view of the lake from almost every room in the house also did not disappoint! Needless to say, we would not hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Relaxation at the lake

"This house was perfect. There were 6 of us so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. Large kitchen with new appliances. Dining room table easily seats 12. Three car garage with additional fridge. No a/c but plenty of fans. Very large deck overlooking the amazing forest features one standard patio table and two large patio tables with additional chaise lounges, chairs, umbrellas and a Weber gas grill. A large crowd of people could be very comfortable on this deck. House has lots of games and videos and I do mean LOTS. The downstairs room with two sets of bunk beds is very kid-oriented with a huge flat-screen TV for games and videos. The place is nicely decorated with lots of mountain/lake themed items. The cleaning crew did an exceptional job as well. Spotless! It's clear the owners love their home and take pride in it. 5 minutes from restaurants and Safeway. This house was built for comfort and relaxation."

Tahoe Vista Travel Tips

Tahoe Vista Vacation Rentals Are Reminiscent of Simpler Times

In northern California lies a place reminiscent of simpler times and simpler living: Lake Tahoe. Small, quaint towns filled with friendly locals welcome you. Colorful sunrises and sunsets paint the sky a multitude of blazing colors reflected in Lake Tahoe’s placid waters making a serene setting. Choosing a Tahoe Vista vacation rental allows guests to feel like a local while enjoying comfort in a private residence. Your Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging will exceed your expectations; any one of the many Tahoe Vista cabins is spacious and some offer sleeping quarters for larger groups.

Tahoe Vista Vacation Rentals Are near Shopping

Just minutes from your Lake Tahoe North Shore lodging lies the charming town of Truckee. Spend the day browsing the unique shops. Watch hand-blown glass being made at Frank Ross’s Glassforms, peruse through rustic mountain décor at Grizzly Mountain Furnishings, and at JoAnne’s Stained Glass there are many distinctive items like jewelry, crystals, sculptures, and fused-art glass. After a long day shopping, stop in Fifty-Fifty Brewing for one of their many authentic types of ale. Roundabout Oatmeal Stout, Donner Party Porter, and Manifesto Pale Ale are a few of the brews found there.

Find Adventure at Tahoe Vista Cabins

If you’re a thrill seeker looking for some action, you will find it just minutes from your Tahoe Vista cabin. Tahoe Adventure Company offers the chance to get on the water during kayaking, sailing, or paddle-boat tours. Roam through majestic pines on a mountain biking tour or conquer cliffs by hiking, rock climbing, or participating in a peak climb. At Soar Truckee, you can take a glider tour over Sierra Vista, Tahoe Vista, or Marlis Valley; tours range from 20 to 45 minutes. Whether you’re looking for adventure in shops or on the water, finish the day off right, winding down in your Tahoe Vista vacation rental.
