Nice place! Will visit again
"I had a tough time getting a place to stay for our skiing vacation at the end of December 2014. A couple of calls to Ama Greenrose and the matter was settled! Thanks Ama. A great place for about 8 people, conveniently located on Northwood Blvd, silent and very close to Tahoe Donner skiing area. (We went to Alpine though). The driveway is level unlike some other places where there could be an inclination. Good stock of kitchenware, a bread maker machine as well as a humidifier. The fireplace is easy to operate. One thing I would suggest is to have a new set of spoons, forks and table knives - current ones are too assorted.
Overall a nice experience. Would rent again!"

"We've stayed here three times, and it's an ideal setup. The house is comfortable and cozy while still feeling spacious, the access to open space in the back is perfect for family hiking, and the owners couldn't be nicer to work with. Thumbs up all the way."

"This home is a cute two bedroom, one bath house about two blocks from downtown Truckee. The road up to the house is pretty steep if you're walking, but if you come from the other end of the street it is a lot easier. The house was clean and the owner was good with communication. We loved the backyard. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching two bunnies eating grass and a robin collecting worms and feeding them to her two "teenage" chicks."
