  • Summer home away from home

"I rented Val's studio for one month in the summer while I completed an internship at the local hospital. The unit perfectly met my needs. Val was friendly, kind, warm, helpful, and flexible. The unit had everything I needed for my stay and the kitchenette was well stocked. I felt right at home right from the start. It was great to be downtown near all the restaurants and shops, and it was only a short drive to Donner Lake. The train tracks run parallel to downtown and you do hear the trains as they go by, but it seemed more romantic than a bother. I loved it!"

  • Delightful two-month stay

"Our two-month stay in his condo has been delightful. We loved having the garage for our car and for storage. The location is perfect and just as the description states, is close to restaurants, post office, coffee shop, and I-80. The hot tub on the deck is a fabulous addition, although the pool community club house also has one and we used that quite a few times, too. The pool has a nice lap area that members respect for those that want to swim laps. There's a great workout area also available. There's a regular-sized washer and dryer available to tenants that proved to be very valuable. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking utensils. We enjoyed having the fireplace for those cool times in May. The condo was clean and all in all we loved this place and would want to come back."

  • Great home base for ski weekend

"Our group of 6 friends had a wonderful stay. The large dining table worked perfectly and we enjoyed hanging out in the cozy living room."

  • Great time at a great location!!

"Time of visit: We rented this home during the snow season Recommended: YES! (highly) This is a very nice house, in a very convenient location, and it is spacious enough to accommodate large families. The home is setup to be very guest friendly and the owners are very hospitable in that they make their supplies and equipment available for use. It is about 0.5 miles from Soda Springs resort (our purpose for coming to Soda Springs) and has quick access to the highway. During our stay it snowed almost the entire time and we got a good 6 to 7 inches of snow (if not more) each of the two days that we were there. Having the mud room was a definite blessing, as it gave us a great place to dress the kids in their snow clothes and even more so an area to undress them from their snow clothes/boots (without getting the main parts of the house wet). Some of the things we loved: • Accommodates 3+ cars • The bunk room stays warm when using the propane furnace. • The mud room stays fairly warm (tolerable) with the provided space heater • Tank-less water heater works great (make sure to turn it on and you may need to check it in the morning to ensure the temperature is high enough) • Great kitchen (open layout) • Good space around the house (for young kids to play in the snow). • House is right off the main road, but not really much traffic (while kids were playing outside) • Plenty of towels are provided in each bathroom • Board and card games are available, along with a pool table and ping-pong table in the bunk room. • Rechargeable flashlights are provided through-out the house (plugged into the wall outlets). Nice! Tips: • Master bedroom does get cold. Be sure to verify that a space heater is in the master bedroom • The ceiling fans on the second floor are controlled by remote. If the remote is not in the living room, check the kitchen drawers (that’s where we found it)"
