  • An Awesome Taste of Tahoe!

"My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to get some skiing and snow boarding in before the season closed. The complex was extremely easy to find, and in an extremely convenient location to pretty much EVERYTHING! We couldn't have been more please when we went inside. The condo has been completely remodeled and the owner didn't cut any corners. The complex is very quiet and perfect for sipping on a glass of wine while enjoying the fire, and watching the snow fall. Philip (the owner) was extremely helpful and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be coming back! :-)"

  • Cozy, perfect for couple or small family

"You've read the other reviews, so here's another affirmation. This cabin is super cute. The bedrooms are not big, but they are plenty to fit the bed. The kitchen had a variety of pots and pans, as well as a full size refrigerator, 4burner stove, regular size oven, and a microwave. The hot tub in the backyard felt great. The jets really relaxed the muscles. The hot tub is fully enclosed in a pergola, but the sides can be slid open. The fireplace was great (with included firewood). We kept a fire going most of the time we were home, it really made for great ambiance. The neighborhood is very quiet. No traffic, no noisy neighbors. Yet it was still really close to the grocery store and coffee house. And there are miles of trails leading to Fallen Leaf Lake and Gardner Mountain just about two blocks away. This cabin is great for a couple, 2 couples, or a small family. But the best part of the whole deal is Bill and Peggy. They live next door, and are just the nicest people you will ever meet. We have rented dozens of different cabins in SLT, all with pluses and minuses, but we have decided this is now our go-to cabin. Can't wait to go back."

  • Week in Paradise

"My family and I spent a wonderful week at the Jameson Beach House in July of 2014. We enjoyed unlimited access to the lake from our own private beach. Having our own pier and boat buoy made it so easy to access all of our water toys all day long. The residence was very clean, and is laid out perfectly for a large family gathering. The main living area was more than adequate for our group of ten, and was part of a larger open area including the kitchen and dining room. You always felt a part of all the activities in the living area. The bedrooms were very spacious, especially the master. The owner Gene was always available for any questions, and was a life saver when he provided a generator to power the house when the whole city of South Lake Tahoe lost power during an afternoon thunder storm. The residence is within easy walking distance of restaurants, ice cream store and a marina. There are multiple restaurants and a major grocery store within five minutes of driving time. If you are a bicyclist there are many trails and remote roads for trips thru the forest. Mornings and evenings on the pier deck are simply magical as you enjoy full view of the lake and it's surrounding mountains. There is no more pleasurable a place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a beer! The expansive sandy beach offered untold hours of fun for all the kids as they swam, waded, paddle boarded and just enjoyed the water. We made new friends staying in the homes on either side of us, which resulted in the kids finding lots of new friends to spend time with. Everyone shared their water toys which made for a great experience. If you are looking for a memorable summer lake vacation look no further. The Jameson Beach House is your answer for a luxurious, yet very comfortable and relaxing time in the mountains. I would highly recommend this location for your stay."
