"We decided to do a last minute getaway before Xmas. The owners worked with us even though they were away on vacation.
The cabin is wonderful, it fit all our needs and more. Kid friendly, adult friendly, pet friendly, plenty of space. We hiked, played in the snow, traveled to Tahoe, played games, watched TV and relaxed! Owners provide a detailed welcome package and the cabin is well stocked for self catering.
Will be back for sure"

"We've just returned from a wonderful few days staying at Cute and Cozy Cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful and was perfect for our family of four. We loved the wood burning stove and all the special touches, such as the heated blankets and the board games, which provided lots of laughs and family fun. Despite being right off the 50, we were surrounded by trees. The owners are great to liaise with and there was no problem accommodating us at short notice. Despite there being very little snow this year, we had a great time skiing at Sierra at Tahoe, which is less than a mile away from the cabin. Sierra is a great, family friendly resort which has everything and more that our family of beginner/ intermediate skiiers needed. Our first experience of both vrbo and of Sierra at Tahoe, both 5 star experiences. Thank you!"

"My husband and I took our honeymoon at strawberry cabin in June 2014, and it was a wonderful trip! The cabin is beautifully located within walking distance of Lover's Leap, and it's only a 30 minute drive to get to beautiful Lake Tahoe. The cabin itself was great for us, and the cute strawberry themed decorations made it feel like a home during our 2 week stay. We enjoyed eating our dinner by the fireplace at night, and in the mornings we enjoyed the beautiful living room view of the forest through the wall of windows. Cari, the owner, was very kind to us in helping us book a honeymoon stay at her cabin that fit within our budget, and over a year afterward has continued her kindness to us in quick correspondences and generosity when we've emailed her with questions about her cabin and the area. We highly recommend staying at Strawberry Cabin!"

"My husband and I rented this cabin for two weeks in July and was joined by friends/family at differing times during our stay. We all had an excellent time! The cabin is large enough to accommodate up to 14 people--just like the overview explains. We mostly appreciated the thought that went into making sure the cabin has everything you need! The owners were just fabulous to work with and helped us at various times both before and after our stay. Here are the highlights:
Sleeping Accommodations--The downstairs includes two bedrooms that are at differing ends of the cabin, which provided privacy for guests. The bathroom downstairs includes a tub/shower combination. Upstairs there were two additional bedrooms for adults and one bedroom designed for children (with enough beds to sleep 6). The master suite upstairs includes another bathroom with a shower, and there is a half-bath upstairs for guests as well. All beds were cosy and comfortable.
Kitchen/Dining--There was a large open kitchen and dining area in the cabin, with a table where we are able to comfortably seat 10 people for dinner at the peak of our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with the necessary cooking/implements/dishes necessary. In addition, off the kitchen was a deck with additional seating and a propane barbeque that was used almost nightly.
Living Area--The great room in the downstairs included two big sofas, two easy chairs, a big fireplace, and a television with DirectTV access. Upon our arrival the cabin had a full supply of wood available to be used and we had fun building fires every morning (yes, in the middle of July!) to take the edge off the early chill. Plenty of movies in case you were in the mood.
Outside--The cabin is situated on the River/Creek as the pictures show. There are lounge chairs by the water as well as two big hammocks for your enjoyment. It was so pleasurable to use these, especially in the mornings/early afternoon in the clean mountain air!
Overall Assessment--Overall, the cabin greatly exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back next year to enjoy again!"
