  • Best Tahoe Rental Ever!!!

"John and Mandy were great to work with, this place is big and great for our two families, they recently built a big redwood deck and fenced in the whole back yard so our kids could play without worry, there is a game room in the back and the two bunk rooms are great with their own tv and about 30 movies for them to watch, the kids had there own wing of the lodge to play in, and the adults stayed up front by the fireplace (in peace), big hot tub that was great and so close to Heavenly Ski and the casinos, also close to the lake we would walk down at night and watch the sun set....covered parking was nice to keep snow off cars. We also walked to Snowflake for burgers and shakes, and to Rojos for BBQ and beers....fun time, already booked again for summer...."

  • Amazing Weekend

"AMAZING weekend spent in South Lake Tahoe in this cozy cabin. It was the perfect size for the 8 of us who went. Great location and great price! We felt right at home at Goldilocks cabin and would love to go back again!"

  • Felt Like Home, Only Better

"My husband, two young boys and I stayed in this wonderful cabin for our very first family vacation. We absolutely loved it. The cabin is just a few blocks from Regan Beach, a great beach and play ground for kids, there is a breath taking meadow just a 5 minute walk away, and it was close to the library and other family friendly places. The cabin was the perfect size for us. It's very cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated. We especially liked the fenced in back yard. My 4 year old had a great time hiding behind the trees and running around. All four of us enjoyed the hot tub. Included is free WiFi, flat screen TV with cable, movies, music, and games. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We're already planning our return this cabin in what my 4 year old calls "Lake Taco.""

  • Even Better than we had hoped for!

"My sister and I stayed here for a few days of rest and relaxation. It was ideal for the two of us. Lily was great at getting back to us and making sure our questions were answered timely. The home was very clean and everything we could think us was provided for, (including lots of towels, a hair dryer, soaps and shampoos, cleaning products, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with baking and cooking equipment as well as paper goods. There is a Safeway market nearby to get anything else you will need. We loved the garden that led up to the lake. It was very peaceful to sit outside on the patio and have our morning coffee. The neighbors were very kind, quiet, and respectful of our privacy. Even though the water level in the lake was very low, we found a silver lining..... We had our own private beach! Everything was so close that we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Yet, the home was far enough off the main road to make it feel like we were in the woods. The neighborhood is well cared for and we felt very safe. We walked to the small town and rented bikes from the Tahoe Bike Company. They were terrific, reasonably priced and provided us with maps of great trail rides. We also took the gondola at Heavenly. Spectacular views and great hiking at the top as well as a really fun ropes course, zip line, and tubing. Get there early to zip line. It sells out quickly! There is a public beach, (also walking distance), which has kayaks and paddle boards to rent, an ice cream store, live music and events. If you are a sweet-tooth, don't miss the Bear's Den at the Ski Run Marina. They have lots of souvenirs, but the best part was their almond roca and fudge! The lady that works there is really passionate about Lake Tahoe and she can give you the low down on everything that is happening around town - just ask!"
