Beautiful place, small issues
"First off, the place is beautiful. Very roomy for the size. Cadena was always prompt at responding to any questions we had prior to the trip.
A few issues we have are very easily fixable. We are guessing that most of them were just from us being in the mix of time when the property changed owners. The place was clean, except for one very important area. My husband stepped on a big piece of broken glass right by the coffee table and cut his foot open. The amount of wash cloths was a way too little. We had 6 people staying there with only 3 wash cloths. That's not even enough to be able to wash them (as was directed to do if you didn't think you had enough towels). We had to buy extra just to be able to shower. The heater was a major problem for us at night. I don't know if there was some kind of timer set on it or what, but we would turn the heater all the way down to 60 and it would kick on in the middle of the night and roast us all every night. When we would wake up in the morning it would say 71 degrees in there on the thermostat. This was probably the biggest issue for us as it ruined our sleep every night. A few other issues were some burnt out lights. The porch light was burnt out which made it very difficult to see to get in. Luckily, we found a light bulb in the house and changed it ourselves. The coffee pot did not work. It would only brew 3 cups and that would take 30 minutes. We tried cleaning it, but it didn't help.
The amount of things for cooking they provided was great! My only suggestion though would be a casserole dish. There was nothing there to cook in the oven except a cookie sheet. We had to go down and buy some foil ones to use.
With all that said, we really loved the place itself. Just those minor issues were a little unfortunate. We would definitely stay here again if those small things were fixed."

"This was a very well done property and it was great staying there with a group of 3 couples. Very convenient to restaurants and shops. Great views and it was nice to all have king sized beds and our own bathrooms. Thanks again Tom."

"This is a great place to stay and enjoy with a group of friends or family. The upstairs is wide open with plenty of seating that helps you feel as if you are in a different room. The windows looking out onto the deck were beautiful with the spa and patio table. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and kept up very nice. It has a home feeling to it with how clean and nice the rooms and bathrooms are. The beds are comfortable and fit our group of 10 adults very easily. The pool table and spa were a hit with us as well as plenty of parking on the property and the street is located in a quiet neighborhood. This is one of the best places we have rented and look forward to booking again in the future. Thanks Bob!"

"This is a very spacious cabin for 2 families, especially the large kitchen and having a living room and den. The living room is nicely moose decorated but the fireplace is not functioning. In winter, definitely would need to bring some wood for wood stove in den. The downstairs bathroom is big with separate tub and shower. There laundry/mud room (accessible from carport and kitchen) has extra refrigerator and plenty of room to leave your ski/sporting equipment. The hot tub was newer and clean. It was even serviced while we were there. There is large fenced back yard (lawn is brown due to drought) and deck. Only issue was one small old plastic table and plastic chairs on deck, we would of liked to have spent more time eating out on deck if there was a nicer patio set for all of us. It is short walk to Regan beach for the playground and view of lake. House is in a nice quiet area of Al Tahoe. We would definitely stay here again."
