  • Great Location in South Lake Tahoe

"My wife and I vacationed here for a week in September 2014 for our Honeymoon. The cabin is great and the location is awesome. It is within walking distance of the beach (and dog beach!), several restaurants and even a couple bus stops. It proved to be a very convienient place to stay and the owner (Jan) is very pleasant to work with. Super nice and very responsive with any questions. Heck, she even had a bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. I would reccomend this cabin to anyone and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. We had an awesome time during our first trip to Lake Tahoe and we hope to be back sooner rather than later!!!"

  • Awesome Vacation Rental in Tahoe

"My family and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everyone was very impressed with the spaciousness of the house and the chefs all loved the quality of the cookware, the availability of spices and cooking oils, and the ample supply of dishes, pans and baking sheets. The appliances were fantastic. The dishwasher was a god-send with our group. The kids, both big and small, enjoyed the vintage arcade. I was initially worried about the size of the beds but it turned out to be a non-issue. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. There really was plenty of room for all 12 of us to spread out. We didn't have a chance to use the grill or the hot tub but I'm sure they would have been great too. I've been to a variety of vacation rentals and this is one of the best. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had to return to reality at some point. :) Thanks for sharing your lovely house and keeping it in such wonderful condition. I would love to return with the family in the future."

  • Cozy cabin close to all the good stuff

"This cabin is great for a couple or even a family. It's warm and cozy, the hot tub is very nice and even though it's close to the main road it's quiet and private. Minutes from Heavenly and walking distance to the lake. Our dog enjoyed it as well."

Al Tahoe Travel Tips

Al Tahoe Vacation Rentals: Lake View Romance

In the western United States, there is no place to spend a vacation quite like Lake Tahoe. Choosing an Al Tahoe vacation rental to meet your Lake Tahoe South Shore lodging needs will not only bring you privacy and security, but all the comforts of home. There are many Al Tahoe cabins to choose from offering large yards, hot tubs, and outdoor decks nestled beneath the trees. Many Al Tahoe vacation rentals are lake-view or lake-front, romantic cottages located only minutes from popular lake and ski activities.

Al Tahoe Vacation Rentals Get You in Nature's Wonder

Just outside your Lake Tahoe South Shore lodging lies many natural wonders. At D.L. Bliss State Park, hiking trails lead you to amazing scenery and natural phenomena. At Rubicon Point, view Emerald Bay, Eagle Falls, Lake Tahoe's Nevada Shore, Fanette Island, and over 100 feet into the depths of Lake Tahoe itself. Balancing Rock is a popular sight; a huge granite rock balances precariously on its slender base and is sure to be a conversation starter.

High Flying Fun at Al Tahoe Cabins

To see the countryside from a bird's eye view, embark on a Heli-Tahoe Helicopter tour. These 10- to 60-minute tours fly over Emerald Bay, Zephyr Cove, Fallen Leaf Lake, and all of Lake Tahoe. A sunset flight is a romantic option for couples wanting some extra ambiance.

If flying isn't for you, consider a visit to the Gondola at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Cruise over 3,000 feet up the mountainside to a wide deck where breath-taking, panoramic scenery abounds. From this point, you can see Desolation Wilderness, Lake Tahoe, and Carson Valley. Whether you enjoy Lake Tahoe from above or at arm's length, that's up to you, but a comfortable, quiet evening at your Al Tahoe vacation rental will make your stay remarkable.
