  • homey feel

"Place was nice and clean. It was kid friendly, my niece enjoyed the books and games available for kids. It was conveniently located near downtown and grocery stores. Only complaint we have is that the water heater never warmed up. Being that we went mid September the weather was starting to cool down which made it difficult to shower in cold water."

  • Even Better than we had hoped for!

"My sister and I stayed here for a few days of rest and relaxation. It was ideal for the two of us. Lily was great at getting back to us and making sure our questions were answered timely. The home was very clean and everything we could think us was provided for, (including lots of towels, a hair dryer, soaps and shampoos, cleaning products, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with baking and cooking equipment as well as paper goods. There is a Safeway market nearby to get anything else you will need. We loved the garden that led up to the lake. It was very peaceful to sit outside on the patio and have our morning coffee. The neighbors were very kind, quiet, and respectful of our privacy. Even though the water level in the lake was very low, we found a silver lining..... We had our own private beach! Everything was so close that we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Yet, the home was far enough off the main road to make it feel like we were in the woods. The neighborhood is well cared for and we felt very safe. We walked to the small town and rented bikes from the Tahoe Bike Company. They were terrific, reasonably priced and provided us with maps of great trail rides. We also took the gondola at Heavenly. Spectacular views and great hiking at the top as well as a really fun ropes course, zip line, and tubing. Get there early to zip line. It sells out quickly! There is a public beach, (also walking distance), which has kayaks and paddle boards to rent, an ice cream store, live music and events. If you are a sweet-tooth, don't miss the Bear's Den at the Ski Run Marina. They have lots of souvenirs, but the best part was their almond roca and fudge! The lady that works there is really passionate about Lake Tahoe and she can give you the low down on everything that is happening around town - just ask!"

  • Spiral Staircase

"Upon arrival the front of the property instantly gave this comfortable feeling. The front deck is very large and spacious with seating for about 6. The inside offers an open floor plan great for entertaining. There's nowhere throughout the common areas that you can't see your party from. The rooms are pretty standard offering some decently comfortable beds. Be wary of the staircase ,downstairs sleepers, because it offers a skinny space between the wall and the edge of the steps; hence the bumpers on a few of the steps. The backyard is nothing special w/ a small patio. Great location for winter activities."

  • Nice, quiet house

"The house was immaculate, and well stocked. We had everything we needed; plush towels, freshly made beds, a nicely equipped kitchen. The house was so clean when we got there, and the living room and kitchen are relaxing and welcoming. The neighborhood is VERY quiet (which we love). We enjoyed our stay."
